What? I'm saying your post is bad. You are purposefully putting him in 4th place and saying he's out of the top 3 when he is literally tied with Mako on 3rd, therefore he is 3rd place too or at least could be considered top 3 by any criteria. This is unfaithful from your part
I think GOAT discussions are a bit early to happen because most of the times the GOAT term is given retroactively on how it shapes the game and their impact on it and there's very few players that are in the discussion that doesn't play anymore. But i do think aspas is DEFINITELY in the discussion because 1) he's the most consistent player oat with Chronicle (which is also a contender to me btw) 2) Apart from Toronto and maybe Copenhagen 22 he's constantly delivering very good international performances stats-wise 3) Even if you don't consider his stats or call him a statpadder, he's a very decisive player who steps up with miracle plays on key moments as we could see in Champions 22 finals and the Champions 23. 24 and 25 runs, including TODAY, and i can go get the rounds if you want, but you should know that if you're actually watching the tournaments
First : They are not tied tho Mako is 1.084, aspas is 1.083, since the debate is "who is the goat", and the only argument for aspas is stat (they take regionally), I just debunked this argument, if you take the best metric aspas is good on, stats, he is not even the goat.
1) he's the most consistent player :
0.52 KD last international event, 1.66 now, he is the most inconsistent player ever, wish not mean bad, his standard deviation is 0.23 wish is higher than every other player in this list (Davai is 2nd at at 0.18, BUzz got the lowest standard deviation with 0.6, Derke is at 0.11)
2) Apart from Toronto and maybe Copenhagen 22 he's constantly delivering very good international performances stats-wise,
You forgot champs 2022 where he is at 1.04 even if his team WON (only Saadhak was lower), If I'm allowed to remove 3 international event for every player, then I can say the same for almost all f them
3) Even if you don't consider his stats or call him a statpadder, he's a very decisive player who steps up with miracle plays on key moments as we could see in Champions 22 finals and the Champions 23
I'm pretty sure I can say the same with a lot of other player, that kinda sounds a cherry picking, but if you can pull out clutch stat or something like that, I gladely take it and could change my mind on that
