what is a dead giveaway someone doesn't actually watch the games but rather only checks the VLR stats after the game
tejo was not boring, i mean trent still had some great clutches WITHOUT needing tejo missiles (like if u think all his clutches were missiles and no aim, that means you don't watch g2 games)
just cuz you don't like the gameplay style doesn't make it boring. It added a whole new layer to the game - aka, hunt down the tejo.
Yeah maybe you didn’t find it boring because you kept on winning with it, it wasn’t fun watching retake simulator and tejo having infinite missiles
yeah trent was good, but the overall state of valorant during the tejo meta was both ass and boring and g2 encapsulated that, i know they were capable of more because the entirely of 2024 happened but saying that tejo was not boring to watch is very very insane
he baits, but its not excessive unlike asspiss. He just plays smart and for the win. He is not the type of player to go for a 1v4 clutch unless it is match point or a very important round. Without Cryo, 100T would have less wins than Furia.
Also, cryos jett is insane. He never baits with jett and still somehow always finds insane value in the round whether its kills, timings, or info.
Let me pull out a old VOD review I did of Cryo's Jett Icebox:
100T vs MIBR: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cGsKJDaMISc&pp=ygUMMTAwdCB2cyBtaWJy
Let’s take a look at Cry0 impact this game:
Round 1: shit on by aspas first death
Round 5: Missed Op shot + shit on first death
Round 6: Good 2k by Cryo. Some impact
Round 8: 2k after baiting his whole team. Not impact.
Round 11: Gets a nice OP kill, then baits his whole team 😭😭😭😭 100T loses a 3v5 retake cuz cryo wants to hold angles that MIBR are not gonna play and bait his team
Round 12: lots of impact and insane clutch from Cryo after baiting his whole team on a super long flank
Cryo went 13-7 and had a 1.74 rating btw, and only 1 of the 3 rounds 100T won this half was because of Cryo.
I'm sorry that you have to watch the same boring compositions doing the same boring things. Listening to the casters explain to you what you see with your eyes. Having observers miss most of the actions and switch between players where the pov switches don't match the names being displayed. Then switching to the "coach" who may or may not have a person behind them we are told is the "assistant coach." Watching them mouth things like "ya" and "uh huh." Switching to a crowd shot that looks like a movie theater crowd on an off-day. Filling the time with aimlabs where the pro players do awful.
If it was entertaining, I would agree with you. But VLR enjoys a certain kind of torture and faked optimism that is hard to stomach. Five years of absolute of bottom of the barrel lazy production.
