SPG's dominance continued on the continental stage, as the squad rolled forward for five straight wins, with its two maps lost in the grand final being the only maps dropped in the run to clinch an entry into VCT.

After wrapping up a 16-match winning streak that lifted SPG from tier two to the VCT level, margaret and SPG competed under the Nongshim banner, but missed out on the international stage with disappointing finishes at Pacific Kickoff and Stage 1. Ahead of Stage 2, Nongshim went a different direction, picking up Korean veteran Rb and moving margaret to the bench.
