Maybe, but both nAts and f0rsakeN have additional value outside of just their fragging and individual performances - they're both IGLs and vibe merchants for their teams (both of these roles being super valuable) + f0rsakeN has an insane agent pool. If Meteor and f0rsakeN were in a bidding war I would expect orgs to throw more at getting f0rsakeN because of how much value he brings to a team (IGL, vibes, agents, fragging) - like the comment that 5 f0rsakeNs would be a great roster honestly might be true.
yeah but i mean trophies over everything, i feel like people with two trophies are just kind of automatically above anyone with 1 trophy, anyone with 1 trophy is above anyone with no trophy, and anyone with 3 trophies (chronicle) is above anyone with 2 trophies type shit ykwim
i saw this same rhetoric be used to exclude forsaken from top 10 lists but now we're bending the rhetoric so people with less trophies are above those with more trophies, like winning twice is no easy feat but to win twice on 2 different teams and be the mvp the second time around is a pretty big flex no?
in that regard i think sacy and meteor should both be above f0rsaken and nats tbh
Although trophies are definitely a factor, I don't think they can really be THE definitive factor. Using that reasoning the top 10 list would then just consist of Chronicle + everyone with 2 trophies - but that just seems ingenuous because then you're really just ranking the teams and snubbing a lot of good players and ignoring the value they bring. For me it's like having a trophy gets you in the door to contend for top 10 and after that it's just whatever value you bring to the table. Kind of like how stats gets players a trial for a team, but actually landing a job on a team depends on the performance in that trial.
yeah but then I don't understand why Chronicle would be no.1 still, it should be Aspas when it comes to value to a team. Shit, f0rsakeN is, in my opinion, right now a better player than Chronicle. The only reason he's up there is nothing other than the fact that he just has more trophies compared to everyone else
And why is yay in this top 10 above Alfajer when Alfajer's value to a team is significantly higher? I would put someone like KangKang above yay.

He was legit better in 2023 plus he has a champs top 6 and masters top 2 in the time Leo hasn't been playing. Pre-2023 Leo had a top 8 at 1 masters, with Alfa getting a top 4 at a masters and a top 6 in champs. Better longevity, better prime, better achievements, no clue why people put Leo above him especially 8 spots above him
