are japan like serious about val because they don't seem to improve as a region like meiy is your only "good" player
Most of us support zeta/dfm anyways coz it's our representatives but everyone has that thing in the back of their minds about the JP teams being shitter than the others. Just most don't mention it.
Overall JP fans are just people thirsty for their teams to just even win one match, coz that's enough to get us powered for a split
Also this is my personal opinion but Japan it yet to make a team with as good chemistry as whatever the Reykjavik zeta team had, so even if dfm/zeta get theoretically good players (Akame, syouta, xdll, clz, jinboong were all highly regarded players in t2), they tend to perform shit due to their chemistry, and through all that, most players tend to underperform.
So I think that there are definitely good players other than meiy in Japan, but they are yet to be put on a team where the whole team has crazy good chemistry.
Also (mb for keeping yapping) I think the reason zeta is flopping rn is coz the coaching staff is not doing a good job on supporting the players, like idk why carlao who can't speak Japanese is the head coach over there...

This match would get more serious if the teams who invited aren't qualified to Master like DRX, Trace, and Zeta. Just pick Talon/Boom rather than PRX, same for chinese teams
if Trace win they will get 10k, and Zeta will be 20k? or their winner will get more in next round, i'm kind confused about this match.
ngl i wish more tournaments like these were held, i want to see teams that doesn't qualify often to internationals attend and play against other teams from other regions, even some tier2 teams in would make it fun with it's own qualifiers, franchising is so boring genuinely

More like if it doesn't show up in the API we have access to (aka live stats API / GRID), we won't be able to. Unlike VCT China officially, sometimes some of these events just doesn't show up.
