EWC only pays well to the teams that do well OVERALL in the tournament, AKA a way for saudi to fund Falcons more money since Falcons owns the best team in almost every esport.
i mean yeah, but the main prize is still like 10x more than the per game prize. also winning one game in EWC is not as prestigious as a VCT trophy, so teams still probably wont reveal too many strats.

this is not the EWC qualifier event. it's just a A-tier event with a great prize pool. Each winner will receive $10,000 and after Match 4(May 15,19:00 CST), if a higher seed team wins, they will receive $10,000 and if a lower seed team takes down, their prize will double to $20,000.

Why is XLG still competing for a EWC spot though, didn't they already qualify. Also I see that there's some people saying that its not for a EWC spot but it has EWC qualifier spots as the prize for the #1 & #2 team. So is this a mickey mouse event or no.
