No way. He crossed China's red line and pissed off the entire player base. If XLG doesn't kick him, the whole org is gonna get axed next.

Let me tell you something funny. In the past, the XLG with YOU communicated in English, and YOU has excellent English skills, acted as the communication bridge. Now, Midi doesn't speak English, and Rarga doesn't speak Chinese—they're on different wavelengths.

Are you saying that YOU was a supporter of Hong Kong independence when he was 16 years old, but his stance will change now?

XLG.Viva was also involved in match-fixing and had been punished, but it hasn't affected his vlr professional career.
In China, all matters can be accommodated, except for political problem.

  1. "YOU was banned for 12 months by Riot for match-fixing."
  2. "His CS:GO professional match was halted due to a cheating ban on his account. He claims it was a false ban."
  3. "Two of his Steam accounts were banned for anti-Chinese. His excuse: 'Someone else used my accounts.''
The third point is the most severe, and his explanation is the least convincing. Therefore, it's highly likely that he won't be able to compete in VCT CN.

Cultural Differences. In China, many things can be forgiven—even crimes that harm others and lead to imprisonment. However, as a Chinese citizen from Hong Kong(or Tanwan), anti-China is absolutely unacceptable. This is regarded as an act of national division, the most severe crime in China. It will immediately cost him his job and result in a permanent ban, regardless of his status or identity.

EDG manager “tuanzi” live broadcast last night, said SIMON was frustrated at being replaced, and then do not come to the game site, do not attend the event, every day live broadcast (gained fans and money). He also said that SIMON's training attitude is negative, far less hard work than jieni. KK, chichoo, smoogy sent gifts during the live broadcast to show that they agree with the manager's statement. EDG manager said that whoever works hard, whoever trains well will be given a chance to play, and now SIMON's attitude has already let down the EDG management team, and he will not be fielded in future matches.

SIMON had a falling out with EDG management and he would hardly ever play again - unless EDG kept losing. So FPX win, jieni level is too low

The breaking news came from a 2024 zmjjkk livestream where swerl met kangkang playing rank with guang, and after it was over swerl and kangkang had a private chat about his hand injury, saying that although his hand injury was quite a bit better than it was last year in RNG (the last team swerl was affiliated with) and at the beginning of the year, he wanted to go back to his home country to rehab it, and that nova said that they could help him with Physical therapy to recover and didn't want to let him go.
