Honest thoughts about EDG
To be honest, I have no clue what this team is planning. They should be spending this time in china forcing kangkang on yoru and learning the agent properly. Yes kangkang struggles on the agent but its not like he hasnt picked up a new agent, and EDG will be better than a majority of the chinese teams so testing it should be no problem. What they are doing with waylay is straight troll and just a complete waste of time.
I also dont like the fact EDG just troll in china, they play with no discipline unlike in internationals which is why they are so known for choking, (whether it be eco rounds or maps) if they just use the time in china to hone discipline they will be much better in internationals. Im also worried for EDG as they face DRG next which is a pretty tough opponent and ever since the bangkok group stage unless EDG outfrag the enemy to death they will just lose. Their map pool also isnt looking nearly as good as before. They are bad at ascent, lotus and icebox. Decent at Fracture (with waylay), Good at fracture (without waylay), haven, split Pearl
so its looking rough for them and the announcement of jieni7 is giving me high hopes either because its a macro and discipline issue, not really a roster issue
