how is acend second best team going into berlin. supermassive blaze get pretty easily beat them and gambit beat them once and went on to win the whole thing pretty convincingly. also I think kru should be d tier based off iceland lol. Zeta division and crazy raccoon should really be in the same tier in C because they are so close. paper rex I'm not sure how good they are but the region is quite small so maybe d tier.

acend at the time thought the bracket would be only one team coming out, noway they didnt try. especiall since everyone expected them to win and demolish everyone else, i cant imagine them not trying in that moment

No, when they played the game against gambit for seed the format had already change. I think even zeek posted it and said that it was a nice change and that they could throw the next day. I’m not saying they didn’t try but it was obvious that they weren’t playing at their 100%. I didn’t see the SMBvGMT but I would say that gambit was the only one that gave their 100% for the seeding.

So a “tier 3 team (g2)” had 3 matchpoints to win a series against a tier 1 team (gambit). How can a tier 1 let that happen against a tier 3 team?, after gambit won first map. G2 must be tier 2 at least, and if their having a good day they can even win to all those tier 1 you mention.

Nothing, I just don't see them getting out of groups. They're really good, don't get me wrong, but they feel like another team who needs a pop off player to succeed.

From the tier lists you guys have made I have gathered that:
-SEN and Gambit are the top 2
-NV, 100T, Acend, VS, G2 and SMB are in the top 8 (not in that order)
-HL are probably 9th
-SEA, JP, F4Q, VK, and KRU are in the bottom half (not in that order)

Hopefully one of the teams from 9-16 can break into the top 8 because it would give us a real underdog to cheer for!
