I have been watching Valorant eSports for quite sometime now and when I saw all the hate that GE gets, I was lowkey confused because yes they are a bad team but I didn't know why people were genuinely hating on these guys. Like I have seen people troll teams but the hate on GE is like full fledged hate.

Me being an Indian, I get GE content recommended pretty often and looking at the context behind it all, it lowkey makes sense and their org owner being a complete and utter dumbass is one of the biggest reasons this shit is happening.

Rushindra was apparantly asked why he doesn't pick 5 Indian players for the team. Now in this situation, a smart owner would either ignore the question or say something on the lines of "We are looking for new players, if someone gets on our radar, we will try to sign them" or just random diplomatic answer. This mf just straight up said "5 Indian players are not good enough". It sounds cool that "oh he is saying the truth" but when you have an audience full of that particular demographic, you don't say something like that as it just makes sure that when your decision fails, you are getting trolled bad. And exactly that has happened.

He also keeps making this whole point of GE being India's last hope typa shit which makes people even more riled up.

Also they are a shit team, so there's that.

Does this excuse the messages Polvi and others are getting (which I won't repeat here but are pretty bad)? No. But could this be avoided by some extent? Absolutely.

while getting 5 indians is fine compartively to now its still not going to get them what they want. THose 5 indians will be abosultely crushed and indians will just end up not watching them after some time, I think they should do a lightningfast, put him with coaches and good players and allow him to grow and now he's their best player. Maybe get one or two indians and off season grind with them keep russ he aint that bad, get a better coach and find another cracked player and just let these indians players get good, the moments one indian is in vct int and performs well is when popularity is guarantted to succeed.

they are capping out of their minds ong bro trust me, sure the temp dopamine hit of yay we got 5 indians, but when they do absoultely skank for a long ass time the community will turn on them, they will be clowned on internationally, regionally and locally, internationally and regionally for obvious reasons people dont like indians and this gives more fuel to the flame. Locally because they are jsut gonna keep asking for roster changes whoeer does ass, their heads will be asked to cut off and put this player instead or this other player instead, they will not give the 5 man time to improve, thats why I think they should put indian players slowly like what they did with lf and allow them to grow and get support from the team and the world. Anyways that my opinion I dont follow the indian scene or am I indian myself, so take my shit with a grain of salt.

There's a massive talent pool in turkey, that's why one of the masters events was hosted in Istanbul. Turkey also has a better connection to Europe at least. Indian players will mostly just be founded on mumbai/Delhi servers I think. Far too isolated for the Indian talent pool to increase in quality & quantity.

I understand that. SK Rossi got so pressurised last season due to him too partly. These mfs advertised him as the BIGGEST INDIAN PROSPECT which he could be if they gave him time. But they didn't and look where he is now, in tier 3, doing great without the pressure, trying to build up from scratches.

As an owner of a business, he's allowed to say that indian players do not instill confidence in him yet to play at that level (though LF clears atm), because it's his company and he's allowed to put money into where he thinks, is the right investment. I honestly have no sort of problem with the "only 1 Indian" in the team.
BUT, The problem for me is the fact that his project is failing in front of his own eyes ; despite so much expenditure, time and effort put into these guys, this team ends up going winless. Not only is it frustrating for the fans, but also embarrassing from the organisation's standpoint. Like, why should anyone "trust a process" that is 6 months in the making (excluding 2023 season) with a 1 win 5 loss record (with the win being against the next worst performing team at the moment)?
Anyways, it's still the middle of this stage, hopefully they shut me up and surprise the fuck out of me.

You're absolutely right. Everything about their marketing is also terrible. The owner making 15 tweets a day and getting no real attention on any of them really hurts them. The only hype they get is from their Indian fans and Rushindra not respecting them hurts the team a lot. The org only has negative reputation in the market and they don't seem to be doing anything to help that.

Secondly, I am not talking about vlr. Look at the messages Polvi and everyone else is getting brother. Also on every streams. You join the stream at the start of ang GE match, you will see it since later on they either go away or the mods remove them.

Because anyways you're importing 4 players and the results still aren't reflecting so the whole narrative that India lacks the talent turns to dust as to counter that you bring in imports and it isn't working either.
