Let us be honest, 2023 EG is possibly the biggest fluke team ever (Yes, even more fluke than floptic)

Before 2023, the EG players were NOBODIES who's biggest achievement was beating floptic that one time (again, most teams were able to do this)

After 2023, these players go back to being BUMS who consistantly drag their team down

Cum - Dosen't know what to do once he cannot flank anymore

Botsio - Match fixing putting up barely double digits with some of the worst calling ever

Jawgemo - so called best raze itw being diffed by a player floating around in the depths of NA t3 (basically EU ascendant 3)

Demon1 - Considerably worse than last year although still a good NA player (If it was EMEA he would be bottom 5)

Ethan - Despite his "experience" he cannot call for shit and it only reflects on his fragging ability as well

LOCK//IN: 3rd/4th
Tokyo 2023: 11th
Champs 2023: (placed 9th, but realistically were minimum top 7 (you would agree if you watched DRX vs NAVI and LOUD vs NAVI in groups))
Madrid: Didnt attend event (Realistically, top 10 team in the world with (SEN, NRG, LOUD, GENG, PRX, T1, TH, KC, FNC))

they have basically been in top 10 since start of 2022, that is pretty successful

instantly sent to lower bracket by drx, won against a leviatan who were group merchants and barely scraped by xset before losing to drx again that same tournament.

navi's entire 2023 year was complete shit:

lock//in = free group to farm (kru, lev, ts), and then as soon as they make playoffs, INSTA 0-3 to fnatic

tokyo - shit the bed HARD by losing to nrg and edg, not even winning a singular series the whole tourney

champs 2023- close maps against a garbage team liquid who won 1 game internationally that whole year, exposed by loud and drx after

GIVEN FREE GROUPS FOR 3 TOURNAMENTS STRAIGHT (champs 2022 - tokyo), AND STILL SHIT THE BED WHEN IT MATTERED MOST LMFAO

TLDR: NOT A SINGLE IMPRESSIVE SERIES WIN FROM CHAMPS 2022 AND ONWARDS.

Evil Genuises' players work better as a team. Just because they don't look to hot as of right now (debatable), that still doesn't take away from what they did in 2023. Sure if Mibr didn't win against 100t, MAYBE EG wouldn't have been as good as they were by the end of they year, but they proved their worth in their International League Playoffs by defeating cloud9 and NRG once and by qualifying to performing great at Masters. Not only that but they won against PRX in the grand finals of Champs. If it were truly a fluke, EG wouldn't make it past their group in Masters. The teams they are on today are very different then the teams they have now. It is still somewhat early in the season so who knows where they will be later on in VCT.
