you guys can call this a bad take but I feel like johnqt won't shine and will be like in a dephh situation except better. he struggled in tier 2(low acs) which should drop in tier1 because there is more challenge. At the beginning of the year, we all said that m80 has a cracked roster. Most of their players are tier one material while other teams either have 2 max or else(except The Guard). It was expected for those two to be in the finals. I'm sure his igling is decent but his stats aren't really showing it, all of m80s achievement were really expected because of their firepower.

JohnQT is literally known for being mechanically gifted, he was one of the better t2 duelists before being an igl, LMFAO and like, he's not a great caller imo but his control on the team is there, afaik Kaplan made him an igl so the chemistry is there, he's literally the complete opposite of an IGL like dephh who cant call from senti, frag or have good midrounds

Sure his duelist skills r good, but it’s irrelevant since he isnt playing that(maybe once in a while). His main is sentinel and he hasnt been putting up good numbers.

Can't expect much from SEN fans. They are still overhyping Tenz when his performance throughout the year are mid at best. TenZ is lucky to have such a large loyal fanbase and cloud or not he will be dropped instantly. Watch how SEN fans are going to blame johnQT for tenz garbage performance or SEN loses in the following tournament, And yeah I have no idea why they signed johnQT . Pretty sure his an average IGL at best
Idk if you've ever played that role yourself cus it is pretty hard to find a guy to shoot at on these 2 roles (since you're not always taking the duels, you're mainly just applying pressure) when you're playing ppl at your level. The reason why Alfa and Less had great success on the role is bc their team also set them up for lurk plays and allat.
I mean, it's good for Johnqt. Man streams are Poping off. Atleast he can get the clout and if he uses it correctly, it's a win-win for him and Org. Time will tell.
But if you believe in Scrim results. Sentinels were dominating Scrims with Champion teams. PRX , FNC , EG(I think saw a clip from Ethan) they all said New SEN is power house.
while i dont think he wont be the top of the top, hes still a upgrade over dephh and marved ( in terms of IGLing ) and everyone gets to play on there comfort role, and plus the raw aim and potential that trhis team has a mid IGL could change this team in the right direction, feels like maybe a 2022 prx but upgraded
says the 100T fan who has lost to SEN like, EVERY time they faced off. Marved stepped up into the igl role yes, but he wasn't meant to be an igl. He did fine but unlike johnqt, he didnt have actual experience igling. Johnqt igled a team from t2 to almost t1, 2nd place. Arguing his acs is low is the worst take 'cause FNS is literally the best NA igl but his acs has always been low. IGLs' biggest contribution isnt fragging, it's the calling.
1) is johnqt anywhere near top igls? no one was talking about him like at the beginning of the year when it came to best igl. now all of a sudden, sen signs him, and hes the best? Theres a reason why fns was able to play on tier 1 even with that aim, im ngl fns aim is underrated. Also, you literally played with the best igl itw, obviously marved is going to pick up things.
