TenZ not a competitor

Happened in C9 CSGO, you could let it slide because he’s a complete noob to tier one.

Happened in C9 Valorant, where he benched himself and became a “streamer” (read talking about sens and mice every 5 minutes₹

Happens in SEN, looking at history he sadly isn’t coming back any time. This is obviously the most forgivable instance because of his gf’s diagnosis.

All in all, it’s a clear pattern, TenZ seems to be a very unstable player or maybe he lacks competitive drive.

i still count him as a streamer, not a pros

oh my. I wonder who all are the lucky 'pros' you take note of. Tenz is for sure over-rated to a certain degree but has a semi-successful professional career than many of those so called pros. Funny people we have around here determining who are pros and what not.

Blud stop with the competitive drive. He became a streamer in C9 cause lan wasn't a thing, not even a month after he got picked up by Sen.

The guy literally played his best with a joint injury and covid against Lev, and you're still talking about competitive drive?

Let’s be honest. He wouldn’t have been picked up if Sinatraa hadn’t been a gf beater.

You are genuinely dumb. The concept of what-if itself is dumb. This is not fantasy, this is reality so stop bringing what-if scenarios if you are being serious. They won Champions with tenz. Not with sinatraa. And tenz fucking carried them every game. Stop being such a stupid F!!? You can search his stats up right here on vlr.

Derke wasn’t anywhere close to as good as he is now.
And anyways the tournament he won wasn’t even a “Major” it was a qualifier to the Champions, the actual Major.

so the multiple international LANs throught the year aren't like the cs majors?
the largest event at the end of season that celebrates the game and the teams with exclusice merch, skins and theme music isn't like worlds?

You are genuinely dumb omfg 💀💀💀. Now in a year these clueless people will start comparing tenz and T2 indian players.
What is the end goal here?
its obvious that competition gets better with time. That doesn't change the fact that tenz was exceptionally good at Reykjavik. What are you even trying to state here? Trying to come up with 'sad but tenz is bad' cringe shit. This figure of speech is not only with you tenz haters. Yall people in vlr are looking like clowns with these 'ik its sad but its the truth' kind of shit like pleaaase.

Damn Sacy, saadhak, boaster, and derke is a stacked lineup of plumbers and milkmen

#57

sacy and saadhak played with: a guy who is currently unemployed; a guy who is playing on tier 2 and is far from being on the best team in VCB now; and a guy who is on franchising god knows why since he is a duck (walks, swims and flies but it's bad at the three things)
the old FNC roster was bad, if they were good, b0tster wouldn't have changed the team like he did.

so yeah, the first masters was during the milkmen era of this game, it doesn't matter if there was world-class players playing it.

Although vct cannot be directly compared to the Major in cs in terms of format, structure or prestige it is indeed the biggest and most prestigious tournament series in Valorant's competitive scene.

HooXi's dad (CS) passed away one day before the last big event of the year (he was about to be benched due to poor results) and after that he won the next 2 big events for G2 after 5 years (Blast Premier World Finals and Katowice) and lead them to N1 in rankings

he would have quit if he didn't have competitive drive, you can't even comprehend the amount of pressure he has on his shoulders at all times

Every competitor has pressure on their shoulders, the ones that take it well and rise to the occasion are who will be remembered.

no valorant player has or will ever face the amount of pressure TenZ has, you're also very hypocritical, he has risen to the occasion multiple times and even winning the trophy while having one of the best statistical performances ever but you will label it as a fluke because it suits your dumbass narrative, get a grip

Yall mfs will say anything honestly. Look at Yay. If yay was never on Optic and yall saw him on C9, you would all be saying the same thing abt some competitive drive or inconsistency, only looking at their worst recent performances. Under the right team, right management, a player can shine. It's not some magical formula that can only mystically happen when you put the best players together, but it requires a lot of practice and meshing from the team itself. Like when you teach a newborn to walk or a toddler to talk, or a new couple how to live healthily with one another, you need a team to work with one another OVER TIME to become the best. So many people used to immediate results and instant gratification don't really know about hard work.

visit the posts these people had in their timeline. Its just tenz bad yay bad posts from the same people for the past 1 week. You know where to stop when you see this. These people literally don't even think about some situations or possibilities. Pretty sure they are the same people who say god doesn't exist cause he is not coming when I summon him. Lost cause...sigh.

the truth is: TenZ was good when he had no competition, when the meta was pure shit and teams were still getting into the game
Just look after iceland 2021 what they accomplished, they almost got defeated by FURIA on a bo3 and FURIA just lost it because shahzam had to take a crap on the bathroom since his pants were already full of shit.

I understand the things he's been going through RIGHT NOW and honestly I think he stepping down to take a time to heal his both mental and physical wounds IS THE RIGHT THING and he shoud also support his wife during this rough times, BUT all of that is an episode apart from his career, the fact is: he can't perform like he did on the beginning of the game and probably he doesn't have the will to evolve like other top tier players (Derke for example)

#53
Loomer

the problem with your example of using derke tho is that it just highlights the difference in environments both have been set up in. derke has been able to stick with mini who is a good a coach and boaster who is a good igl for a long time coupled with roster changes that actually made his team good. tenz on the other hand went through too long of a time without an actual coach and stuck with mostly the same og sen players even when it was no longer working out. by the time they made a good roster change it was too little too late.

#56
number1_MIBR_hater

but also the problem with your statement is that tenz was held high even tho there was a lot of people saying all that i said, and those who held tenz that high used to jsut spam that we were tenz haters and shit like that. The only ones to blame were, for sure, tenz fanbase and sentinels as an org. I understand the structure of a team should come from the org, but also the players were confortable to use the masters 1 trophy as a shield to any critiscim. If you have a legion of people blindly saying you're the best and an org that falls into the confort zone.

I highly doubt everything that happened during 2021/2022 was all sentinels fault. The players were confortable and some even had arrogance just because they won a trophy during the farmers era of the game. You can't expect to improve if you sit back and wait for someone to do something.
