oh then its all good bro. for some ppl, they might just need a few months to get good but there are also those who need bit more time. Watch valorant videos and learn from it. But the best one is to just keep playing the game. Think to urself what should u have done in that situation after u die etc

Do aim training and try to learn the basics first: movement, crosshair placements, positioning, game sense, communication and utility usage. I guarantee you that with a good game sense and crosshair placement you can get at least platinum.

Alright did some basic analysis of your profile. Seems like you crouch spray with your phantom all the time, to fix that go to a Deathmatch unbind crouch and do Guardian or sheriff only and try to kill the enemies only in one shot.
After that go to Range, do the "PREMS" method which was made by an YouTuber named 'Sero'.
PREMS stands for
P - Practice bots
R - Recoil control
E - Easy bots
M - Medium bots
S - Strafe and Movement
Always aim to headshot, cause spraying is just bs. Good luck btw

#10
randomperson

Frags

should i leave crouch unbinded in ranked or not

#12
PlugHero

Frags

It would help also don't shoot standing idle, you should always keep moving cause your aim is to shoot and not get shot. Use A and D keys like counter strafing and you'll be fine.

#17
Mathias8008
0
Frags

crouch is useful, if you unbind it you will feel like you hit more headshots but it is because recoil will help you but that won't make you improve, try improving crosshair placement and counter strafe in dms

According to CHATGPT, you should:

Study the game mechanics: Learn the basics of Valorant including game modes, maps, weapons, agents and their abilities. Study how the game is played and how to use each agent effectively.

Improve aim: Aim is crucial in Valorant, so practice your aim regularly using aim training maps, bots, and other aim improvement tools.

Master utility usage: Effective use of utility such as smokes, flashes, and walls can greatly impact the outcome of a round. Study the best ways to use each agent’s utility and practice using it in games.

Play with a team: Valorant is a team-based game, so it’s important to play regularly with a group of players and communicate effectively. This will help you develop teamwork skills and improve your decision-making ability.

Watch professional matches: Watch professional players and learn from their strategies, utility usage, and movement. Analyze the plays and try to incorporate these elements into your own gameplay.

I don't know what your device spec but if you have enough money to upgrade your PC is matter a lot, bcuz in FPS games. FPS and Hz screen is give you a huge impact and advantage. but if your PC and monitor are good then great, you just need to play more

you're winning because you play agents you're comfortable with. even if you think you suck you probably have a much better understanding of your agent than most ppl in ur elo who are just picking whatever they want every game

if u up those stats and keep playing viper you'll climb fast

#33

Just keep playing lil bro, you're doing fine. But do try to play the agent/game to its full potential. Even if you're losing, try to take aim duels and try to practice lineups, rotates in "gg we go next" kinda games. Be a student of the game and its more fun. But aim does matter since strats only go so far if you're getting 1 tapped.

#37

Keep playing
val was my first fps game started off a iron 2 peaked d1 aim wise just hop on range or aim labs play headshot precision just remember precision over speed it's always better to hit head and get kill over spray and get kill

#54

Aimlabs is trash compared to kovaaks, if you actually want to train your aim for tac shooters use the routine I wrote in the post above. It will make you better not only in val but in cs and siege too

Also, mousepad and mouse skates matter a lot, you typically want a control pad for tac shooters(and any game with low ttk), although there's chronicle who uses a fucking artisan hien that is meant for tracking-heavy games. Tenz uses artisan zero and imo this is the best pad available atm for valorant and csgo

#69

u do not need a fancy mousepad to get a high rank in valorant trust me this shit is optional

I will just say why do you even care about rank so much. Coming from a 30yr old D1-D2 almost every act, just keep playing and enjoy the game. Valorant ranks are wild. I find plat 1 way harder than diamond 1. The only way to get better is by playing the game.

#47
kyvaire

just keep playing and don’t overheat. you could try aim trainers or dm too but those are not the most important in valo imo. Awareness and gamesense is what I feel makes a diff. Just don’t throw and you’ll be fine. idk about win rate tho cause my win rate is always shit too.

either go to CS and master the gunplay first or go to OW to master the utilities. Be a master at one of them, and come back to valo to learn the rest. This is why most top tier pros are ex cs bros. It takes as much as twice the time but it'll be worth it. I might sound like a madman

Get a better chair or desk so that your elbow rests perpendicular to the desk. you can aim with your arm better. Lower you sens to adjust for arm aim

Before playing, do some aim routines, play two rounds of deathmatch, work on your movement, crosshair placement (it's important to know where you're going to aim), don't crouch too much, use COMMS, play Jett since her toolkit is simple, watch pros play so you can learn from them, check every angle, and don't soloq  You'll only have ass teammates.

Nah my guy this ain’t it. Did you look at his tracker?

He plays 15-17 games of ranked in a day pretty regularly. He’s played 150 ish ranked games just this act alone. Thats entirely too much time spent to not improve or stay hard stuck in silver. It’s clear he has hit a plateau of some sort.

Just mindlessly queuing more at this rate will not aid him. He would actually benefit from playing less ranked in this case and studying vods, doing coaching (you need someone with experience to identify and help you eliminate or reduce your bad habits). Playing DMs, learning agents in customs, spending time in the range, etc. just my 2 cents. It’s a public forum after all, wouldn’t discourage advice here…

Going back it looks like Val is his first FPS, so your "play the game and you'll get better" statement still holds somewhat. I would just make sure he understands that just playing comp more isn’t gonna help as much as intentional practice in the game ALONG with ranked.

Maybe OP sets a healthy limit. No more than 7 ranked games a day. Other time should be devoted to just having fun, practicing skills and game knowledge and not worrying about ranked or your stats in ranked.

#81
Danny

You’ll notice every pro has thousands of hours played…

Any mechanic he needs to improve will be improved overtime.

Especially since he’s so new and so bad. Focused training is worthless when you suck at everything

KAST is C...get your KAST to A or S and you will climb by default, doesn't even matter if the rest of your other stats are shit really IMO KAST is the biggest factor for climbing ranked...Which means, try not to die first every round and try to play with your team/ get trades.

You probably still have a good winrate cause you have average KAST and your teammates carry you, find ways to improve or just be happy playing in silver :) I wish my games were silver sometimes...Everyone in my ELO is a try hard. Ain't nothing wrong with being silver, don't listen to twitch chat LOL.

I aint the best valorant player, but you can learn to play more agents so you dont fall short at agent selection, cuz I saw that you picked Viper like on Haven or Ascent, in those maps Viper is not a so good agent unless your team has a second controller, maybe try Omen, Brimstone, and when you get more experimented you can try Astra and Harbor on some maps.
