there is NO more indian viewership left my brother in christ, not since they got all international players. only a select few still are fans.
GE's just in the league for the sake of it seems. even the old fans like myself and many more have given up on this org. used to support them till the first year of franchise and really wished they would win. you should understand a fan's perspective. you see the only org which was to supposedly "represent" ur region on the international stage getting whooped left, right and centre. first with domestic players and then with international players. and the worst part the same people who didnt want to give domestic players a chance are going crazy about giving these international players a chance even though they performed statistically worse. there's only a few meatriders for GE left and 75% of them are global esports fake accounts it seems. it makes absolutely no sense

im not even saying 5 indian players, the core can be international players/indian players and build a team around that with international/indian players

And to answer your question, GE has been in franchise for 3 years yet have been unable to qualify for playoffs for 3 years, in the first year no one can even blame the incompetence of the players, it was due to the language barrier and GE's management being so quick to change the rosters and not even give the roster a proper chance. After that they started hiring tier 2 imports and it all went downhill. Now being the face of indian esports in valorant, them removing indian players and still not winning with international players has become a source of mutual hatred for GE
the argument that orgs like TH,liquid etc. not having players of their country of origin has gotta be the dumbest argument i have ever heard. These orgs are multidisciplinary, multinational and have been in the ecosystem for a long time and have built a fanbase irrespective of their nationalities. People from different countries support these orgs. Even Indians hate GE now, so having an international fanbase is out of the question. The sole reason GE got a slot was to represent the South Asian region. Hasn't DFM given japanese players a chance every season? This is because they a majority japanese fanbase. RRQ started getting hate for not having indo players. Even ZETA has stuck to japanese players. There is a clear difference in the fanbase and management of these orgs, yet people are blind to it.

GE's win percentage with Indian players is better than GE's win percentage without Indian players. It might be a minor difference but its still really funny how something like that happens. (I have only included VCT pacific)

won against talon (and both SkRossi and lightningfast played 1 map so you can't blame them) , took one map off prx (in which SkRossi performed well), sweeped GenG (SkRossi nuked them) and also won against DFM both times they played them (which the current roster was unable to do)
GE has tried 17 foreign players and only 2 Indian players since the beginning of franchise, but I guess Indian players are the problem. i feel 2023 GE roster was objectively the best roster, they just didn't get enough time and there were serious comp mistakes
