nah na isnt terrible , but yes even though sen is literally obliterating every team, V1 is not that op. Liquid HEAVILY underestimated v1 and the overconfidence made them lose. Im damn sure v1 is not making it to the lower finals

a team doesn't lose a whole series from underestimating their opponent lmao. v1 are on liquid's level and they proved it, they nearly 2-0ed nuturn too, u can't keep discrediting the level theyre on.
X10 is so overrated, they are gonna get killed again just like they did by Vikings
V1 overrated. Every time they won a round they would stand up and wave to the other team and make a big deal about it and try to rub it in. After gloating so much, the fact that they lost to a "minor region" was extremely satisfying.
Thats just the nature of competition. Get in their head and its easier to win + it gives your team confidence.
Also, I don't think they are overrated. They have a great IGL and coach and were able to play some insane series vs NU and TL before this with a sub (I think people are forgetting the fact that jammyz is a sub just because of how well he has been)
Fnatic had prep advantage because up to this point they had only played Icebox and Haven while V1 has permabanned Bind and played all the other maps in the tourney. (This also kinda explains why the Icebox game was much closer than Ascent)
It was hard to believe in V1 winning this series because of that, specially knowing FNC is a prep heavy type of team.

Good match right here V1 vs FNATIC. FNATIC is undoubtedly the better EU team, liquid is so erratic. V1 ban bind, FNATIC ban split, FNATIC take icebox 13-10, V1 take ascent 14-12, Haven could go either way. Cos I'm an Na fan I'ma say 2-1 V1, what do you guys think?

Honestly, if it goes to Haven I think V1 takes the W. Their post plant utility is so OP.
This post plant meta is so sleeper. Every game is hype and exciting and you can see top tier gameplay, then they pull out the lineups and spend the next minute waiting for the spike to explode. Thankfully all of the teams at Iceland are insane and still give super fun gameplay.

But i don't think V1 can win the ascent, they should pick Haven imo

Fnatic need to activate for this one. V1 are not a joke. If they go like Liquid and run their default setups, they're going to get read and dismantled. They need to make unpredictable risky plays from time to time like Nuturn.

I'm a Fnatic fan but I think people are underestimating V1. They have shown that they are a good team, I don't think it'll be easy for the EU guys, especially cause Derke has not been showing up. My prediction would be 2-1 if Fnatic plays at their best. But I could see V1 taking the W

If fnatic lose this, then it's over for EU dream. Liquid just ain't it man, their play-style has so far been underwhelming throughout this tournament as teams from other regions seem to be capable of countering them quite well.

The one thing, that has been consistently poor through all VCT tourneys has to be the UI. Why is it so bad? Kills update late or early, rounds get registered early or late. It's super inconsistent.
Sage is crucial on Icebox. At least on B site to plant. Without Sage, it's really hard to take B because you don't have the wall as a cover. People can spam you and also molly you and you are basically dead.

FNC strongest map is Bind. Icebox is FNC weakest map aside from Split imo, they lost to Alliance and Acend convincingly on this map.

Of course it is. We'll see how the rest of the maps play out. Mistic really not doing anything at all on this map, whereas he played out of his mind on the last two Icebox maps.
I also don't think Fnatic has played against this aggressive Omen Icebox style. Vanity has created so much space for his team, basically won his team at least 3 rounds so far.
Edit: Also genius about the Omen is the fact, that he can smoke out Magnum's set turrets. This is the key that's making them so confused on some round and lose their mid control.
this guy dies every round and gets 0 kills. 0.33 KDA and casters dont mention a word. Valorant casting in general is so awful, these people never criticize players who arent on duelists, as if this performance was acceptable
Explain how derke is 34 17 and these casters open their dog mouths to criticize him more than the 0.33 kda mistic who got overrun on every B hit by V1

I thought V1's mental was the toughest in all of the teams but they just crumbled under the pressure when theyre down and just got outplayed the whole time. GGs to them for a good showing with a sub but FNC is looking s p i c y right now
GGs. V1 can be proud of themselves for making it this far. They got the toughest opponent(imo) out of the three teams in lower brackets and still took them to OT.
This will probably go unnoticed cus most of ya'll are 12, soy and overinvested in NA vs EU beef. But GG and well played to V1. Was rooting for Fnatic to win, and super glad they did. But V1 did really well, and they had a good shot to win the whole tournament, they're surely one of the top 4 teams here.
