I agree that the game does feel dated, but I almost find that part charming. I can't get into most modern shooters because it feels almost too polished and realistic. By that I mean the newer battlefield, cod and siege. I don't really know how to put it into words. I also love that because the engine is so brokenly predictable that you can definitely tell the difference between pros and someone who is just excellent at the game. Like I said, I love CSGO, but it is not a game for new people. It's impossible to want to improve in the game because of its current issues. Valve is no longer a game company, and they don't pretend to be. Riot is an esport company more than a game company, so I trust that they will take the game seriously and not leave the game to dry.

I can't tell if he's trolling. That was the dumbest take ever.

That's not what's holding the game back though. VAC is unusable, and 64 tick is unacceptable in 2021. Fix that and I would love the game, but it always feels like valve is doing the bare minimum they can do to get an "is this the update that brings back the game posts". Not trying to be a negative Nancy, I love CSGO and it's the only game that I have more than 3000 hours in, but it's obvious that the player base didn't leave because of a single map issue and the m4a1s was unusable.

Honestly, I didn't think about that. Most of my friends until college played on PS or Xbox and I didnt know competitive games until I got a pc. Console culture just was not that competitive. I can't speak about how EU gaming was, but I always imagined internet cafés where everyone was a sweaty CS try hard, sounded like heaven to me in high school.

Lol, I'm wondering the same thing. What does a default European look like?

Stewie is not getting booted, and I don't think anyone from the CS Liquid roster would switch. NA CS is so dead that I dont think there are too many big names that would even make headlines for a switch. I expect NA 2 tier cs to switch very soon. EU big names will switch soon IMO because of the money / stability that Valorant / Riot is pulling. I do think that KennyS is the most obvious to switch rn.

HE CANT GET AWAY WITH THIS

This game he went 18 /13/ 7 on the map they took from 100T. It makes much more sense to work through these issues to get him to how he was preforming before, rather than just cutting him over a game. I can't speak for impact, but I'm sure he's making more of an impact than you're thinking. I also want you to think about the environment that would take form if they just cut people over every bad performance, no player would not be stressed out of their minds on a team like that.

No big org would pick him up. Regardless if he's a rapist (which is a pretty low bar). He has a shady past and no advertisers want to be associated with that.

edit: Im agreeing with you. I reread this, and it looks like I'm arguing, lol. Just wanted to add to your point.

NA. My brothers, we came here, cocky as all hell, and we've enjoyed the constant trash talking. 100T loses one map, and I join these threads expecting to see hardcore copium and my NA siblings rallying, saying that NOBODY takes a map from NA twice. Only to see, everyone seems to pretend that they were not defending NA supremely less than 8 hours ago. I understand that we are losing, but to see how quick everyone tucked their tail from one map is pretty sad. Just continue to have fun with it instead of pretending that we expected this all along. It looks bad.

You should be, and it's going to be huge. We just have to reason to think that it's going to be bigger that LOL at this point, and it doesn't have to be. A scene does not need to be the biggest one to be successful

Read this thread. It could just be his opinion, but it sounded like it mattered.

Definitely matters, LAN matches are a diffrent game. LAN leads to a bunch of inconveniences that should be accounted for. Forgot who mentioned it, but the way they make you listen to white noise, and put on earbuds under ear muffs, made players to make a bunch of mistakes. I would not be surprised if 100T would at least think about that more than a team without LAN knowledge.

Any pro will say it matters.

  3. Reason 2

I doubt they will use KayO tomorrow. They probably practiced with it a ton, but want more practical game time with it before using it on LAN. I just want to see Steel on Jett again. Plz 100T

Like Sprouts mentioned, Gambit will probably ban breeze, 100T seem to well on it.

Gambit played breeze 5 times online. While 100T has lost 3 games out of the past 5 Haven maps. Seems like it makes more sense to ban breeze.

I think that 100T will win, but it will be close. I know that Gambit is the best EU, but I can't tell how they will play against another region because of how one-sided their game was. I did like how 100T looked against Havan though, but that can be my NA bias. GLHF
