cuz of propaganda and all streamers trying to ignore it to not get into drama
It has shit ass online qualifiers too which aren't even streamed. There is just no hype for it cause of shit like this. And the qualifiers are happening when masters is like a couple of weeks away lol.
yeah, this is the bigger complaint for me; wdym you are hosting such a massive tounament and i only know the scores for the qualifiers can't even watch it
they have just added the massive prize pool to attract the eyes but have worse production than regionals
Mickey mouse production + happens right after the 2nd international happens + the teams who make the international care less about it because they care more about prepping for the international + some teams not using full roster or using a roster with new players = Mickey Mouse
Its probably all the discourse around it and not all qualifiers are being streamed (which is basically what is going to happen next year so according to that standard of all games not being streamed the whole year might feel Mickey Mouse to some doomers and gloomers) Plus the actual qualified teams just wanna focus on London instead of that. Insane prize pool but not much care unless your one of the weaker teams and just want a tournament to play in. Problem is the patch that they play on might not be current patch so it makes it kinda boring and pointless for those teams to be playing a previous patch when EWC ends shortly before stage 2 starts i believe?
