I don't think NA is bad, I think some players are overpaid which makes some (not all) put less effort
Even nrg adapted, Loud is lucky because of ardiss if it was yay or cryocells with op then it was nrg win and so there won't be any SA team

Loud won because they were better, not because NRG underperformed. NRG actually is the best looking team from NA.

the only NA team expected to make top 4 was nrg, and they were 1 round away in a very close quad OT match.
the two EMEA teams expected to make it far were Navi and Fnatic, Navi was lucky enough to keep 4 from their core together from FPX (LAN winners) and Fnatic has literally the strongest team on paper. It would've been sad if they didn't make top 4.
but, I just don't think a region's strength is based off of its top teams. EMEA has 2 amazing teams but so does Americas. What does matter imo is that Americas #3-8 (100T, LEV, SEN, Furia, EG, C9) are the favorites to win over EMEA #3-8 any day and I'd rather have it that way than require 2 teams to carry the whole region.

NA isnt bad, NRG looks very good(as expected when they have the Optic core + ardiis), EG look very drilled on some maps, their potential is really high, 100T looked a bit shaky, but nothing that cant be fixed and Sentinels has high potential aswell. Im only worried about C9, it seems like they had some trouble behind the scenes(thats why yay´s gone). Well see in Tokyo how the regions compare. Thats the true test, Lockin is important, but Masters is even more.
100T didnt look shaky, that's how they play, already reached their cieling (10th team EMEA level). You expect derrek to clutch against Franchised top players like its NA LCQ (lowest tier of competition). Cryocells chamber merchant, bang cant reach marved's level.

NRG looks like the only good team in NA tbh, with Loud and Leviatan this might be the 3 teams to go to Masters Tokyo.
Why are we comparing 10 EMEA teams to NA who has 5. Just compare to Americas Region, EMEA still has the most representation still, but the comparison doesn't make sense to just NA.
The classic "you have more teams" cope, just compare eu top 5 to na top5 easy way to see how far ahead emea is
Currently EMEA is ahead with FNC and Navi both being top tier teams. NRG is competitive with them but that is it
The second tier of NA franchising however is leaps and bounds above the rest of EMEA. 100T and C9 both clear Vitality, koi, and Giants.
EG and Sen are question marks but still above the bottom 5 EMEA franchised rosters
I think this lock in tournament hopefully shows them what they need to improve on. A lot of high potential teams here.
As a region NA is easily the best as a collective, but of it's teams NA just doesn't have a top 5 team globally. Navi, DRX and Loud are all better than the best NA team in NRG. But EG is easily the best of the worst teams of each region.
OG/NRG will always look like a W machine. even with some roster changes, I can still 90% trust them to get a dub against any team.
