Based on the Riot Dev's wording the next agent is an initiator.

Do you think this will be a rival to a agent already in the game like Fade was to Sova?
Or is it a whole new type of initiator?

New initiator is good and considering the words of the dev its going to bring new ways to entry, clear angles and plant the spike so we might see something really new. Maybe someone like a close range scan agent unlike sova and fade

Has a hook like pudge that pulls people to you

Has a boomerang that can bounce and if it hits someone they make an audible noise and slowly bleed until they pull it out and then it makes another audible noise

Can create a portal on any wall bangable surface that allows 1 person to walk through

ultimate is a giant ghost ship made of water that comes crashing down from the heavens and does damage / slows.

The pic riot released has some creature with little dragon arms next to the agent's boba tea. Makes me think this agent will have some sort of drone ie: sova, fade, skye. Maybe the drone will even breathe fire or have some mechanic like breach's blast ability. The agent code name is Smoke Dancer, so maybe it will be a whole new kind of initiator that can disable smokes or is geared towards initiating through enemy smokes. Also the final calling card for this season's battle pass has a little creature face and similar colors to the pic riot released of the agent.

That sounds so broken but who knows. Utility that can pass through walls is Breach's specialty. Agent 22 could be a Breach rival cause his pick rate is so high on some maps.
