Why do people think ardiis is not better than cned?
Ardiis literally was a perfect fit and waas very flexible and yeah ik cned is insane but
I dont think -adriis +cned is an upgrade

i think u guys are overrating ardiis so much, like i even saw someone saying ardiis is good as much yay and nrg will be okay. Cned had a bad year but he's the perfect fit for Navi. There's no other player in terms of op player in emea and he will be okay with fpx core.
Ardiis only played good at copenhagen and champs while cned had a perfect year in 2021 and yay was consistent 2021 and 2022

NRG will be pretty insane with ardiis. Only real concern should be s0m lol.
Also Acend almost beat FPX for the second time in stage 2. That icebox was just crazy throw from acend. Just goes to show how hard it is to qualify from EMEA, when a 2 month of team was beating and almost knocking out the champion of the tournament they would be qualifying to.
I think they'll be moving s0m into a different role such as smokes. I've felt like more recently s0m's duelist has lacked. He was already playing Omen on Icebox for NRG with the old roster, and his aim has never been the problem, it's always been him creating space and taking first duels. I think smokes would work well for him too because it allows him to let his pure aim take over and just deny space rather than take it.
After ardiis leaving, really there couldn't have been a better replacement for him other than cned, sayf or maybe jampii. Seriously, its still the same dangerous FPX core with shao, suygetsu, zyppan. Im sure ANGE1 can fit cned in their playstyle, he's a veteran IGL afterall. That's why they are rating this team so high, just like how DRX should be rated high as well. Established core with a small change. NRG could've been similar if marved was there. It's sad Optic core and LOUD core split up. Navi, DRX, PRX are few of the only top teams left unchanged.

Look at Champs stats and talk. U are just mad that ppl talk about ardiis being better than cned. Ardiis is the 2nd best chamber in the world without a doubt. Copenhagen I agree Shao and suygetsu were amazing but ardiis also played really well and in Champs he showed up more than those 2 did. He is fpx's best player. Yes he was very well at champs i nothingg said about it and same happened with acend back then zeek showed up more and everyone said he's best flex that i don't agree. Cned had a bad year because they changed the team and lost their igl, navi's 2023 roster looks clean and if angel and doombros make better teamplay with cned he will be good as old days.
Again not denying cned won't match ardiis but saying that ardiis isn't the 2nd best chamber in the world is just false. U gotta understand something. Zeek was one of the best flex in the world back then. Meta changes. Players improve or fall off. Same way ardiis is currently the 2nd best chamber itw and the best player on fpx. This can change. But there is no denying the stats of the most recent tournament
just watch what happened in emea games and then say. you being an nrg fan are now so biased by just watching his masters and champs games. sure he can continue his form, but its more than likely he'll perform worse than what cned does. i am just an emea fan, not a fan of ardiis or cned. rest is up to you to acknowledge
i am far from an nrg fan lmao. i am a gmb fan. i just know that ardiis is a beast. also u judge how good a player is with their recent performances especially the ones on lan. if a player is not performing on lan but has great online performances,they are literally made fun off as onliners lmao. u have go everything in reverse. ardiis is currently the 2nd best chamber in the world and there is no denying it unless u are blind and can't read the stats from the most recent games
Ardiis has big balls to say to ange1 that compositions are shit and hes not gonna play it(source interview of ardiis to thoorin). After ardiis joined, fpx finally started abusing jett/chamber type of agents, used more clasic approach for maps (they were lacking in it in their countless races to create a new meta in 2021 and they disagreed with clasic approach to play a game last year). From what i've heard also FPX took ardiis cuz his comms were on a level during tryouts. He called everything he wanted (i watch this, push with me, give me flash, lets try to do this, be aware of this), had reads and etc. Even his best moment of this year is the moment of ardiis having big balls(swing with 1 hp) and read on what his opponents would do (1v3 clutch vs DRX).
I dont get point of most users here that aimwise ardiis better. Its not true imo. They are pretty much equal, but cNed better as sniper and also cNed still would jettdiff anyone i believe. And overall i think cNed mechanically more talanted(with sherif lets say and with knifes). Increasing agentpool for him is not a problem. But better to where its possible to give him a chances unleash his strong sides and let him play jett.
The problem is that FPX lost a very commincative player with good understanding of this game. Ardiis could disagree with point of view of Ange1 and d00mbros and discuss that they should play something else. Ardiis's extra point of view on a game was maybe missing part of puzzle to make fpx work.
cNed is calm silent guy from what i remember from Acend voicecomms. His strong side that he is able to stay calm in a lot of stress situation and leave them as a winner.
We will see how it will work, but if ange1 and d00mbr0s wouldn't go too deep in reinveting things and will not forget about their strong sides i believe its could be a huge upgrade for them. Just because of individual level(if they use their strong sides) this team should be able to dominate over 80% of franchise teams.
They has bigbrain igl with good midround calls and reads, three of their rifle players are top 10 emea aimers and the last one is the smartest operator and the best jett in the world. If they not gonna use they make a space for upsets.
They were able to win EMEA playoffs even without ardiis(and even used Jett on some maps!), so i guess everything will be fine for NaVi next year.

NaVi needed a OP player and since they couldn’t get Sayf... they got next best option Cned and now considering that Chamber's pick rate is going down and more teams are running Jett and I think Chamber will get another small nerf before the next VCT season I think the meta will shift towards Jett and Cned is the best Jett player in the world his Chamber is weak but he diffs everyone with Jett so I think FPX got a upgrade
I feel like you look at the team wrong. It's not they wanted cNed over Ardiis, but rather Ardiis wanted another team and cNed is probably the next best guy. There are a few other names you could throw in, but cNed is easily T3 in terms of people to take Ardiis' spot. He is both an EMEA champion and World Champion. He is proven across multiple LANs and has a similar individual peak to Ardiis. I do think Ardiis fit the vibe that FPX established this year more than Charles Ned, but I don't think it's a downgrade. He is most likely a side-grade and we should be okay with that. This core was one of the best in the world this year and there is no reason to believe that will change next year.
