isnt it obvious?? the meta and playstyle literally changes every patch.. and also every team atleast have 1-2 x factor(mechanically insane or 5 head players), so just on aim idk a team can literally win every tourney...
in one patch some agent are OP and if teams capitalize on it they win, and also the fact many a times the qualified teams are playing on older patch for few weeks if patch rolled out just before tourney, this gives chance to T-2 or T-3 teams to really test out limits of nerfs or buffs and hence you see this situation.. this game is all about adaptability and race who can first figure new meta...

the game isnt really focused on official tourneys as of now i think they are trying to put a decent amount into game before franchising and then putting in all for official tourneys... if they wanted valorant to be esports getgo then thing like agents ban, lan clients, replay system and alot of other things already would be there.. rn they are more focus on getting players and improving agents and stabilizing game before all in commit to tourneys.. and next year is best time for it cause this year still there are lot of travel restriction and almost no lan even for big regions so ...

You do realize that some teams can put in a lot of effort over an extended period of time and improve right? Just because you were t3 today, doesnt mean you will be t3 6 months from now. In cs, look at teams like spirit, top 4 at the major and 1 week later they lose to Finest at an online cup. Inconsistency exists in every game, but that's what makes them fun to watch.
