FNATIC got 4th pick in playoffs in Toronto against the hottest team at the time.
G2 had map ban advantages, but lost (legit Pacific win).
TH champs just lost to LEV for some reason (legit CN win).
TH had a sub (new roster less prac in earlier playoffs) in Shanghai.

posted 1 month ago

its just map ban advantages

posted 1 month ago

they wont
4/8 of the last 4 grand finals have included the West and 4/8 Asia.

Asia 3-2 West, Asia 3-2 West, Asia 3-2 West, Asia 3-1 West (Asia also had map ban advantages in 3/4 of these GF)

relax. also dont forget Pacific's diabolical fall off in Champs 2024 (just 2 events ago)

FNATIC are the actual most enjoyable team if you understand Valorant to a deep level (not saying I am one of these people). You can see how ppl that are smart actually get interested when FNATIC play.

ardiis was like top 5 and top 10 stats in EMEA Kickoff 2024 and EMEA stage 1 2024. Suygetsu was just as high or higher prob too

NAVI and ardiis with them only fell off after d00mbr0s left (stage 2).
all the propaganda is making ardiis seem like he fell off

2024: became an EMEA bum team's (GiantX) Gekko Wingman Spike Planter in late 2024.

wtf dont compare me to that disgusting thing. I almost never engaged with that user.

posted 1 month ago

it was peak Valorant. you got the real best teams, crazy new matchups and rosters, unpredictability, the start of franchising and not loser teams who needed second chances (only exception is FPX(EMEA) in 2022 Copenhagen since they had a sub before being in the lower bracket)

posted 1 month ago

bro its only been 2 events of somewhat Asia dominance

Champs 2024 was diabolical for pacific (5th-6th, 9th-12th, 9th-12th, 13th-16th). Those results were worse than any of AMERICAS or EMEA's worst results

posted 1 month ago

Teams that are EQUALLY WARMED UP and can adapt to teams without second chances are real winners.

Double-elim only makes sense in VCT internationals since group stage teams get a warm-up while 1st seeds dont.

posted 1 month ago

nah id be off Valorant if Asia became the best region of Valorant that soon. they would have to be so dominant for the next year/two for that to happen (them becoming the best of all time) that region competitiveness (Valorant's main purpose to watch) wouldnt be a thing anymore.

  1. Champs
    • tiniest gap possible
  2. Masters/Esports World Cup (2025-?)
    • tiny gap
  3. Kickoff Masters(Madrid, Bangkok)/LOCK//IN (Sao Paulo)

if u dont agree with this, ur braindamaged

posted 1 month ago

nah. we can say (still) EMEA is the best of all time right now

posted 1 month ago

fnatic is the least likely to get out in my opinion (THIS WAS SAID BEFORE EWC STARTED)

FNC are tired from Toronto and have the hardest group.

KC can easily beat one of G2/PRX if they have their 50:50 peak day.
TH have hopefully free games of RRQ and TITAN.
BBL clear SEN by miles (SEN are chinese farmers and go 0-2 in tournaments and 1-13 to TL otherwise)

posted 1 month ago

Fnatic wont be winning

they definitely wont beat the 2nd place curse after TH and G2 fell victim to it.

actual champs winner: DRX or 100T

eww wtf.

Watching emea bums like koi, gx, m8, apeks >= watching amer tier 3 teams/never do anything in playoffs teams 2g, kru, loud, eg, c9

group stage merchants C9 are easily the most entertaining team though

posted 1 month ago

I fully agree with you. I hate Heretics (first trophy to KR, first trophy to CN, and with Heretics law, first trophy to SEA).

but this doesnt mean EMEA isnt close to Asia (they r both close regions at the top).

posted 1 month ago

decent writing but wtf. yall need to get out of your depressed phases and lock in

posted 1 month ago
people clowned on paper rex for years because being close/2nd place wasn't good enough

you were the same people that said it mattered since it was your region.

now that it is EMEA and AMERICAS, you guys dont say the same. hypocrites.

posted 1 month ago

The OP is talking about EMEA and AMERICAS fall off. That started when Asia started their 4 trophy winstreak (Shanghai).

People like you do not use logic and are just blinded by bias when saying things man...

0/8 attempt. expected better

an entertaining 3-2, 3-2, 3-1 is not a waste of time LMFAO. open your brain up

you are the same type of guy who said Pacific was a competitive region while they had no international trophies until mid-2024 (only a year ago)

why TL is better than SEN:

  • TL in Bangkok: TL wins against SEN dominantly. SEN dont win a game.
  • TL in Toronto: TL wins against MIBR and has a closer game to PRX than SEN. SEN, with 2 more weeks of prep and no jetlag, only beat BLG, XLG (= to 11th-12th teams) and WOL (first ever international game and just warming up)

why VIT is better than SEN:

  • VIT Top 4 + beat T1 and DRX (best team and 5th-6th team)
  • SEN, 0-2 Bangkok and Chinese&ChineseteamswithSubs Wins-2 Losses Toronto. nothing notable

also I agree BLG is better than Trace. When did I disagree with that or even mention Trace??

posted 1 month ago

VIT won against T1 (1st), DRX (5th-6th)
SEN beat XI LAI (0-2 7th-8th team with a sub), BILIBILI (9th-10th, lucky to not be 11th-12th since BLG got a free game against TL without nAts), and WOL (3rd, only good win ig)

posted 1 month ago

TL is just way better than SEN in both events clearly (TL and SEN shouldnt be compared).
VIT has a top 4 (better than SEN's bottom placement becuz they got a free Americas slot in Bangkok, and SEN beating chinese teams in Toronto). VIT also has a regional trophy > SEN 0 regional trophies (if that matters - i dont think so though)

SEN just has a 0-2 placement and beating Chinese teams placement. there is no way they can be counted

posted 1 month ago

realistic 7th best team (after PRX, FNC, G2, WOL, GEN.G, TL) at Toronto
if they r now counted as +1 for americas region's teams, then why in 2023 were NAVI (3rd or 4th in LOCK//IN), TL (5th) and FUT (7th-8th in champs 2023) never counted as teams for EMEA in 2023 instead of only FNATIC

trust me ur biased for americas rn and we cant count SEN for americas rn

posted 1 month ago

SEN 0-2 PRX, SEN -12 rounds
https://www.vlr.gg/498625/sentinels-vs-paper-rex-valorant-masters-toronto-2025-ubsf/?game=221160&tab=overview

TL 1-2 PRX, TL -8 rounds
https://www.vlr.gg/490314/paper-rex-vs-team-liquid-valorant-masters-toronto-2025-r3-1-1/?game=217272&tab=overview

this is the closest comparison we can get for right now and TL is better.
On top of this, TL had 2 weeks of prep (got very messed up with the sub situation). While SEN had 4 weeks of prep and 0 jetlag since the event was in North America.

SEN has been dogshit in the last 2 events and is just lucky that the rest of Americas is worse.
People are too biased to see that Americas is the 3rd worst region (China is the worst).

posted 1 month ago

SEN went 0-2 in Bangkok.
In Toronto, SEN only beat Chinese teams (Xi LAI, BILIBILI, WOLVES when they were just warming up) in mostly close games.

TL meanwhile: https://www.vlr.gg/449003/team-liquid-vs-sentinels-champions-tour-2025-masters-bangkok-r2-0-1/?game=202776&tab=overview
