What major are you thinking of? I also graduated from GT
Kaajak wins pistol but Demon1 wins rifle
KJ maybe Alfajer?
Cypher maybe Happywei?
Neon maybe Whzy?
I agree with you, but also I think TL already showed that the FNC Ascent comp had severe flaws and shouldn’t be played again. Maybe Lev thought that they had answers to the kinds of counters TL showed against FNC, but they very clearly did not.
Picking the same Ascent comp that got obliterated already by Liquid in the FNC game was basically guaranteeing they’d start 0-1.
I thought the icebox game looked like Lev didn’t have a comprehensive game plan. NRG also just played extremely well.
Dropping Smoggy wouldn’t make sense imo, he’s been fine.
They’ll probably be fine. KK just needs time to practice the Yoru and he’ll get it. Also, these 3 weeks are the first time the full roster with Jieni7 will get to practice during downtime. Before, Jieni7 joined both times in the middle of the split.
Better off playing old Pokémon games on emulator, and also playing BOTW + TOTK again
They’ve been playing decently, their 3 losses in stage 2 were to the current top 3 teams in playoffs
They might make a few notes on them but not any serious prep. There’s no use in doing any serious prepping for a team you might not even face if you don’t take care of the games in front of you
There’s a lot of reason to be optimistic about EDG heading into champs. Believe it or not, this is the first stretch of down time they’ve had with Jieni7 as the starter. Both times he became starter mid-split. Now KK has time to practice Yoru too.
Also, -Icebox (EDG permaban) and +Abyss is good
They’re actually good though
I don’t get the “PRX will get anti-stratted” argument. Teams are only worried about prepping for who their next opponent is, not a team they could theoretically face later in the tournament.
is there some kinda history of Xeppaa vs NRG?
Sen coming first already proves that it was not a divine message, probably just a nightmare
They downvoted you but you are right
EDG gonna finish top 3. There’s so many reasons to expect them to be way better internationally than domestically
Aspas not enough international success to be LeBron comparison. He’s closer to a KD than LeBron. Peaked early in his career and his been good since but not able to recapture that magic
Smoggy quietly played really well in both the UBF and GF
The final kill was nasty too (EGD vs Lev Champs 24 Abyss round 20 I assume)
“If Ruxic is on good form” my guy he is ALWAYS on good form, he’s been consistently great this split. I’m confident in NAVI too only because of him
I think NRG is very good but I don’t see the gap between them and C9 as being that big. I could see a world where C9 wins
I never watch Melser and feel any kind of positive emotion, so -Melser
Took em out back behind the woodshed
Do we consider the stakes of the games or just the plays themselves? Like Trexx 1v5 could be for 2024, but a play like KK 4k in champs finals map 5 was way more important
Hey I'd be down for history to repeat itself, that means EDG win Champs 24
all 3 of those guys were playing a lot better at Champs 24 than they are currently, and they had looked good in the past. I haven't seen enough from the MiBR players to give me much hope
Even if Aspas plays really well I don't think the team around him is good enough to go far
I actually want them to be competitive. The more competitive teams at Champs, the better it will be for us viewers
Ah no problem, all good it happens
??? I read what you said just fine, I was just adding another point. I agree with your initial take man...
Hasn't Americas also won 2 titles since the last time EMEA won a title? EG champs 23 and then Sen next masters
They have a long offseason for him to learn more
I have 100% been an NRG hater and thought they were overrated, but they are playing super well today. I know Lev is playing poorly, but NRG is taking advantage of every mistake by Lev. It looks like NRG knows exactly what Lev want to do all the time. It pains me to say this, but I am starting to believe a lot more in this team.
EDG: they have been looking better every match at least, and the -Icebox +Abyss change benefits them greatly.
BLG: they are actually really good, especially Rushia. He's playing out of his mind.
DRG: good but no idea. Could be a Wolves situation, or they could get grouped. No expectations
XLG: looking okay but not great, their map pool is rough
It's also more challenging for that comp to push OP users off of aggressive defensive angles. The Kayo knife and double flash are good for that
Just broadcasting that you don't watch CN games
