RRQ is a fantastic team. I know they bombed out of Toronto, but context is important: they were extremely reliant on Tejo, so the meta shift impacted them severely, and it was their first international as a team.

Now, they showed that they can be a top level team in Pacific in a different meta and completely bounced back from Toronto. I think people are SUPER sleeping on them! I’d argue they’re top 5 across all regions rn

The RRQ disrespect is crazy

posted 3 weeks ago

BBL with an enormous wasted opportunity vs TL, and now it costs them dearly

posted 3 weeks ago

Ah makes sense now

posted 3 weeks ago

Oh I assumed the list was an ordered list, no problem…. Anyways, GenG have lost to RRQ 3 straight times and RRQ did better in stage 2 by far.

posted 3 weeks ago

We might need to start having some conversations about where Westside is ranked in EMEA because dude can SHOOT. Assuming GiantX win, I’m really excited to see how he’ll look at Champs

posted 3 weeks ago

GenG has no business being above RRQ at this moment in time

posted 3 weeks ago

Forgot PRX somewhere in there but RRQ is my dark horse team

posted 3 weeks ago

C9 still at 172 is kind of sad

posted 3 weeks ago

I don’t remember the specific scenarios last year for qualifying but I don’t think Americas’ different tiebreak rules made a difference

posted 3 weeks ago

I’ve heard conflicting reports, but last I heard he was gonna fly in and almost immediately go play

posted 3 weeks ago

Only seeding

posted 3 weeks ago

PRX, RRQ, T1, G2

posted 3 weeks ago

I hope not, I don’t want both PRX and G2 in EDG group

posted 3 weeks ago

Probably lose in groups but I wouldn’t be shocked if they made playoffs

posted 3 weeks ago

Stay strong, our teams have fallen on rough times but we must persist

posted 3 weeks ago

Have I been in a coma or something because I don’t remember anyone but Sen fans ranking Sen above G2

posted 3 weeks ago

No

posted 3 weeks ago

Probably the least interesting, never any surprise teams winning

posted 3 weeks ago

That’s a fair argument

posted 3 weeks ago

…. Did you read what he said?

posted 3 weeks ago

They’re definitely good enough to win, it’s just about players having their best games at the right times

posted 3 weeks ago

They’d probably make playoffs

posted 3 weeks ago

Just because they have a good matchup into PRX doesn’t mean they’re the best team… the missed out on qualifying to champs because they lost several games during stage 2. That’s like saying ZETA beating PRX 2-0 means that ZETA are the better team, despite history before and after that game proving otherwise

posted 3 weeks ago

All of the regions have had ugly, sloppy matches. The difference is that in EMEA it’s the top 4 teams playing these “MY EYES” type games in playoffs

posted 3 weeks ago

I definitely get your argument, I just think that if he’s as impactful to his team as people say he is, he should have some better performances on his resume. People like to say all of his old TL teams were garbage but I don’t think they were that bad either. I mean they won EMEA split in 2023 without nAts being a superstar hard carry

posted 3 weeks ago

Yup, Alfa has also been a monster in multiple of those finals

posted 3 weeks ago

He was excellent at Bangkok and been great in stage 2. He was only above average at best in every other split or international since kickoff, and that’s only because I didn’t keep scrolling back

posted 3 weeks ago

nAts is criminally overrated. People argue nAts is one of the best players ever and hugely impactful, but we have no evidence of that past 2021. Very little team success and his stats are nothing special

posted 3 weeks ago

So then what metric do we use to say how good he is? If his teams have been largely irrelevant for years (even domestically) AND his individual stats are nothing special, then what argument is there for him being such an impactful player?

posted 3 weeks ago

I mean you could argue the other way though. The fact that he’s had no international success and failed to qualify for so many tournaments means that he might not be as impactful to his team’s success as people say he is. Also, his conventional stats are nothing to write home about

posted 3 weeks ago

Aspas also has the advantage of being incredible statistically both internationally and domestically. nAts has been far from that

posted 3 weeks ago

And so we should just give him 0% of the blame? It’s not like he was statistically playing that well either

posted 3 weeks ago

Oh we got a big guy over here lmao, can’t wait to see which single EMEA team makes it out of Champs groups 👍

posted 3 weeks ago

Arguably Tenz

posted 3 weeks ago

Thank you someone else understands 😅

posted 3 weeks ago

“Best team in APAC is not going to champs” yeah you definitely have no idea what you’re talking about lol

posted 3 weeks ago

I think it might hurt for Americas playoffs because Leaf might be a little rusty, but will help for Champs

posted 3 weeks ago

If you think this gameplay was better than top APAC, Americas, and CN teams then you straight up don’t watch other regions. Genuinely embarrassing take

posted 3 weeks ago

nAts is way too high, clear overreaction. He has 1 trophy and it was in 2021. He’s been decent but nothing crazy since then, with no accomplishments. There’s no argument for putting him above Alfa, who has been a better and more accomplished player for 3 years

posted 3 weeks ago

At least G2 and Sen have looked better. I’d argue BLG have looked better too

posted 3 weeks ago

No it doesn’t?? There’s a difference between making huge individual plays vs individual players throwing

posted 3 weeks ago

… did we watch the same game? Players often ego peeking and throwing away leads, tons of ecos, a goddamn ninja defuse, and players taking unnecessary fights to throw rounds away

posted 3 weeks ago

It ain’t even ragebait, 2 of the 3 maps we just watched were filled with slop

posted 3 weeks ago

nAts wasn’t the reason BBL lost, it was BBL. So many troll plays in the second half and throwing away advantages

posted 3 weeks ago

You’re gonna get downvoted for good takes like this

posted 3 weeks ago

Critical match for BBL to qualify and TL for seeding and they both play absolutely disgusting rounds throughout the entire series. Super entertaining but also a gallon of glue. How on earth can we expect this region to do well at Champs

posted 3 weeks ago

Try not to overreact challenge

posted 3 weeks ago

Instead of 0/8, use 0/4 for TH flair

posted 3 weeks ago

It required divine intervention and numerous ridiculous occurrences for that series to even be close
