Actually, excluding the grand finals kang kang didn’t mvp any series and barely had a 1 rating
Watching the matches, it clear smoggy and chichoo were the standout players for the whole tourney minus the finals

His overall tournament performance wasn’t even close to chichoo or smoggy, he wouldn’t have the chance to play that well in finals if they hadn’t brought him there
That’s why he’s the finals mvp and one of them is the tournament mvp imo

A lot of people used to glaze Aspas when loud won despite him being the worst player when they won champs, didn’t give pancada less and sacy their credit during champs 2022

I heard kang kang got the mvp bracelet for champs, kinda sucks for chichoo and smoggy
It feels like flashy players and duelist players always get more credit than consistent impactful players, sure kang kang was the grand finals mvp but smoggy and chichoo were way better throughout the tourney

This is likely because they have more distinct heads than other agents so it’s easier to see their head and easier to aim for their heads

Your aim goes where ur looking and if their head is more distinct from their body you will find it easier to aim at them

TL DR
Zellsis does have a decent bit of value to a team like sen especially with quieter players who feel pressure like Zekken and tenz

I personally think zellsis should be dropped, but it’s worth noting that from comms u can hear him hyping up the team and motivating them when they are down on rounds
This is extremely important because sometimes teams shut down and drastically reduce comma when they are struggling or tilted
Even more impressively, zellsis is able to be the hypeman and emotional leader when HE IS DOING bad, which is extremely rare and valuable
Many IGLs for an example struggle to call or lead the team when they are underperforming

Kang kang is overrated, everyone glazes him when talking about edg but his teammates don’t get enough credit
And u can say Aspas is worse than kk after one series, that’s not how every pro video game works

C9 better do something with OXY, that mf is a once in a life time talent, genuinely incredible
