Outside of eg 23, only jawg has looked good. Outside of t1, only meteor and buzz have looked good.

Fnc with Leo, derke, Chron, and Alfa struggled more than when they replaced Leo with hiro. Sentinels with tenz, Zekken, grand finals mvp sacy, and champs mvp pancada struggled.

EG 23 and t1 25 rosters are some good examples of this, on the flip side fnatic 2024 (with Leo) and sen 2023 are some examples too.

I agree people overestimate his impact, but it doesn’t justify invalid criticism/hate either. The people that glaze him that much usually are mibr fans/Brazilian fans, while people hating on him are nearly everyone else. I understand the point ur making is that the same way popular players get unjustified credit, they also get unjustified hate but I still don’t think it’s acceptable.
I personally never felt like Aspas carried mibr (with Verno) and CERTAINLY not loud (despite that being a real narrative at points during 22/23)

Was lev really dysfunctional? Com has great supportive utility, Mazino is a genuinely incredible flex player when he has a good team, king’s calling is mid but his fragging was great last year too. Tex struggled but was able to adapt to sentinel role well too.
I agree Aspas is falling off a bit but genuinely if you put any other player here and I think there struggling too.

It’s just annoying when you try to explain how team matters and people bring up how chronicle, derke, or Alfajer never fell off when they have always historically been in good teams. Aspas form now is similar to chrons form in 2022 for an example.

I think EDG are overreacting with their constant roster moves. They are so used to being absolutely untouchable in China that since they began losing they are panicking trying to find the right roster to dominate again, but in reality, china just got better as region.

None of the best teams in the world are ever flawless regionally. It’s natural to struggle at times or lose. Instead of overreacting I think edg should just stick with their roster and improve together. Even if they struggle regionally and don’t make champs constantly switching their roster is not helping. It takes time for a new roster to gel together.

Polar opposite styles of play, Jawgemo is a hard entry that will run in and die or take space and hold an angle on one part of the map the entire round until his tp runs out

I’ll always say the Ardis 1v3 on ascent because the room for error was quite literally zero. He had to hit every shot exactly when he hit it and move in the exact way he did.

I wish we could have gotten an optic/loud vs fpx at champs. They prolly would have lost but there was a chance that if they didn’t run into DRX (who had them figured out) they coulda made top 3.

FPX. The war kind of fucked them, but they made 6 LANS in a row from 2022-2023. They also consecutively placed 1st, 4th, and 3-4th in a row before falling off. They beat some prettty good teams in 2022 along the way such as xset, fnc, prx, optic, and drx. Their consistency was nearly optic/loud level but they don’t get the same hype.
