She was useful as both a recon and flash init. Part of yoru’s current popularity is because he’s directly subs flash inits in a lot of comps

Jett having 4.5 smokes is really op, because it allows you to isolate fights better when entering and keeping you safe for long a time. After she got nerfed, people still played her due to comfort, and neon got a buff by the time people realized she was no longer op
Tho is was in 2024, when skye was still popular, so yoru was still not played due to these reasons

Yoru was a bit different, because he so abysmally dogshit for years that it’s understandable no one really wanted to play him because people had put way more time into other agents by the time he became good, and as long as Jett had 4.5 second smokes she still hard cleared him
It took Jett and skye nerfs for the buffs to be relevant

I don’t get ur point either, sure the pro scene is slow on getting meta reads or agent reads but they are still better than riot, who look at purely pick rate statistics but don’t interpret them correctly

I’m not saying demon1 should play raze, but he couldn’t play sentinel, so Chet forced him on raze, because he’s an aimer and thought his mechanics would allow him to frag out at least.
He can play sentinel now, but he grinded sentinel ranked for months first, and we’ve still only seen him on vyse/cypher, not kj/viper. To say he would have been fine if he’d been on sentinel at the time is extremely hindsighty.

Also, demon1 barely even played the game after champs and was very washed. It’s not his fault entirely, because he had personal shit going on, but it pisses me off that Chet gets all the criticism for this situation.
