three of his four best agents are kayo raze and KJ what are u on about lol
his raze kayo and kj are all pretty great like top tier in north America on all 3 agents over 3 different roles plus the ability to play shit like neon and phoenix that not many duelists play still.
ya he does dumb shit a lot of IGLs do that, Ange1 does it every other round, FNS had a bit of int this go around, Saadhak played a dogshit raze. That's not what he should be viewed off of. His KD was still ahead of all of 100T bar Asuna and his assist per round was above everyone but asuna as well. At the end of the day he did a damn good job of IGLing and beat the third best team in Americas coming into the group play. He deserves a ton of props for not only doing that but also making controversial but beneficial role changes and spearheading two cracked duelists with 2 non native English speakers. I don't get what the dude has to do to at least be considered above average lol.
Dephh and Sykko literally is one of the best IGL coach duos in the world I don't understand why they get so much hate after one bad game as if FNS and Saadhak have never dropped a game here or there.
my point is that even if hes not FNS level people were calling him worse than Boostio and IGLs in T2 because he lost to the eventual world champs and they have pre conceived bias that makes no sense
Calling Dephh the worst IGL in franchising after 1 game LMFAO
What were Cryo Zekken and Ayrin before dephh??
Ayrin was a raze main with flexibility concerns who looked on the brink of being dropped before Dephh shaped him into an ultra flexible co-IGL
Zekken was on Noble and was good but not that hyped up, only really known because he had beaten LG. Went from good sova raze player in T2.5 to top top tier flex player ITW
Cryo was obviously hyped up but he became a legit contender for top 5 fragger in the world, you have to give Dephh credit for that.
He's genuinely one of the best talent scouts in NA and his hate is so absurdly dumb I just don't get it.
Skuba and Zander have gotten a lot of love this split but Wippie has been arguably better than Skuba recently and is playing at a top tier level on his secondary role. His viper has an argument for best in T2, and his astra is also disgusting. Fantastic player who is still being slightly underrated IMO.
No offense to S0M because he played really well but do you really think that s0m would be that much better than Skuba if Skuba was put on NRG? s0m definitely stepped into a perfect situation as a controller player that I think a lot of people would succeed in, similar to tuyz with Loud. Both played great, both are talented and for sure are good, but when you get a top 3 IGL ITW and a stacked team around you it's very easy to play well.
Yes ur very correct man Marved has average smoke utility usage and only was good because he can aim well
How many players internationally do u take over Marved and Bang asides from Mako and Pancada? I feel like they have the best top two outside of APAC who obviously have multiple cracked ones but Bang would be best in EU and both would be second best in LATAM.
Tigg and Brawk deserve to be in that convo as well if we're talking specifically Sova
Pwny is a better duelist than Reduxx and Reduxx recently and historically has been more likely to play cypher kj and kayo than Pwny its a much better fit with him on sentinel
I heard something abt next month but I have absolutely no clue
I have a feeling Reduxx replaces Randy on full time sentinel duty with maybe some flex to Kayo or double duelist on some maps.
Sova: Zekken, Trent, Crashies
Kayo: Zellsis, Jonahp, Asuna
Skye: Xeppaa, BcJ, Crashies
Fade: BcJ, Trent, Xeppaa
Breach: Jonahp, C0m, Flyuh
Gekko: I saw Fiziq play it I guess lol
Overall: Crashies, Trent, Xeppaa
There is no fix, they're all mediocre players who all sit in the bottom half of talent in EMEA. It just needs to be a whole roster overhaul. I know Keloqz has his moments and Zeek used to be one of the best, but it just feels like a team that's living in 2021.
I mean of the talent you stated only one of them has proven to be international level with another team. They all are individually good but I wouldn't say they're better than XSET, Optic, Tgrd, Faze, etcs old core's. I think them hovering around 6-10 in NA made sense but obviously when you dip this low you need to make changes. IMO Bdog and Moose are their only players that they've had where I feel like they would succeed and be stars on top tier teams.
Mada for sure hasn't been underperforming for three tournaments now he definitely should be above Kanpeki lol
It would be in both FaZe and Dicey's best interest to let him play duelist on a different team and grabbing a sentinel player. I bet Nillyaz or Add3r would take the upgrade to go to Faze, or even just grab a FA. Either way he has never been good on anything that isn't an awp agent or duelist so let him be a star on a lesser team.
He's third highest rated sentinel player, 2nd highest on specifically KJ, has a very good viper and an insane fk/fd while anchoring for a top 2 team. Just because Valyn and Trent are stars above him doesn't mean he shouldn't be in this convo
100T: The OG PUBG+Hiko wasn't even top 12 NA
C9: Pre Vanity but Post Xeppaa team didn't even make it out of quals, same with the post TenZ Xeta on jett team, or the pre Xeta First Trike team. Atleast this Curry roster had a few wins in T1 play.
FNC: The Tsack Moe40 roster couldn't even make main events in S1, even though the H1ber thing was unfortunate it was only for two games and they were on a LAN, the Tsack Moe40 iteration lost to Ballista and Wave lol
This screams started watching in 2022
He was above average on LAN(probably helped he had 2 of the best players ever on his team) and was really bad in qualifiers. It made sense when he got dropped and not picked up by a franchised team
They're expecting way too much from a guy with no Tier 1.5+ experience in his career. Definitely not ready to give up on him but he has to learn and play so many agents with this squad because of their odd role structure. I think it could be better if they add in a guy like Vanity or Hazed and let V1C flourish on what role HE wants to play
If we're talking abt NA then it's likely one of M80 or TGRD wins and the other gets completely poached out. No matter what at least like 7/10 players on those teams should be in franchising and with players getting replaced after 2023 it's most likely those guys and a few other stand outs make their way into T1.
TBF 3 teams longterm controller player spot is up in the air in NA(all for very different reasons) so in 2024 or late '23 there's a spot that randomly comes open he's probably the most likely to get scooped up
560 to many?
Trent
Valyn
---------
M80
--------
Rest of TGRD
----------
Bdog/Skuba/Moose/Nature/Poised
Small sample size but Kanpeki and Tigg look amazing ATM
Whatever 5 doesn't qualify next year are for sure most likely to move up and replace some of the weaker NA franchised players
FaZe Bjor?
I never said any of the 3 is better than the others, but DSG and TSM are literally dead even in a match rn on Riku's first game. I think they're very evenly matched but adding the best available KJ in the T2 scene rn instead of Seven whose been their worst performer for a while would be the upgrade they need to get out of the group. It is funny tho that Faze also has a a similar problem at their sentinel role where Dicey looks very uncomfortable on it.
I'd rate M80 TGRD and G2 ahead of them with Faze and DSG on the same tier. You're right I probably should've just said solidly third as I do think M80 and TGRD are just too good but that team is still better without seven and with bjor
-Seven
+Bjor
God squad if the IGLing stays hot and Kanpeki keeps playing like a star
Wouldn't even be an awful for shout for C9, tho I doubt he has been trialing. If C9 wants an experienced, unsigned player, he probably has more experience than most of their options in T1 level of play. Problem is he's very far from having played at a REALLY high level, but worst case scenario he's a sentinel player that can flex to recon initiator and smokes
Best performers at the moment seem to be
Skuba
Bdog
Moose
Poised
Nature
at their own positions but there's also guys who have historically been amazing like Babybay and Dapr and new guys to their team like Kanpeki and Tigg
Most valuable player ITW at 3 dollars LMFAO
It's not even close from the third to 4th best sentinel players. Alfajer Leaf and Shyy all looked really good this tournament but they're all young and haven't traditionally been sentinel players at the highest level. One of them will for sure break into that tier by the end of '23 but right now 1-3, 3-6 seem very solid.
TL on paper, Vitality based on placement, KOI based on ceiling and how good their worst players can perform. I know FUT looked strong against 100T but I'm just not a believer.

This is literally him fragging => than cned on jett versus Acend when Starxo was still their and Acend was at their peak. Even when Envy/Optic were at their lowest and Acend were at their highest he was still fragging exceptionally well on Jett.
https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/449/valorant-champions-2021?exclude=8276.8277.8278&min_rounds=90&agent=jett This is just from the group stage when Envy was ass and he was still top 2 on Jett stats for those that played substantial amounts of the character.
