why arent these big countries in iceland? there has got to be atleast 1 really good team from both countries

India got integrated with VCT under APAC this year and South Asian valo scene is still not that good
China might get Integrated in VCT in 2023
Wtf salty indo, SA still better than BOOM PSJ OR ONIC, even PRX actually get carried by Jinggg and benkai who always clutch, not Forsaken, and who mimdfreak
Nah that's an overstatement, VLT lost to sbe and fs and both team got knocked out by boom, ur obviously just writing in hatred but understandable.
Population =\= good
Especially both region have little to no experience in big fps scene.
they're good in most f2p FPS like Crossfire, Point Blank and so. But I can't see them being better in Valorant than KR for example.
In csgo china has always been dominating the asia region all these sea pros used to get shit on and they could not beat them...
bro in cs it was always b/w KR(MVP PK) vs china...china isnt as good as KR in fps.
btw who won more times in kr vs china in cs...if i am not wrong its korea
Korea was good but sadly they too would get destroyed by the chinese. Have you ever seen a korean team at the major? The answer is no. The korean team only made it 1 international event while chinese teams always dominated the asia region. Tyloo also were the 1st ever asian team to make it to the legend stage at the major.
Ye but it's such a 1 country region, i used to support tyloo for so long, dominating in asia and then shitting their pants in international stage, the lowest time was when they lost to no name windigo team or sum i was like tf is wrong with u guys.
don't know about the fps scene but yea valorant for sure both the regions got the required exposure late but its fine if the teams are good then they will make it eventually
indian esports culture aint as developed anywhere close to our SEA counterparts..also a lot of roster shuffles..lack of facilities and player salaries being very less unless you're in top 5 orgs... but there is a lot of potential and talent..i hope someday they can match the rest of world
India hasn't made it trough APAC, China will get their slot next year probably since the game is relatively new there (I think?)
I've watched some chinese matches.. they have insane aim but the game looks like ranked..also china in a lot of games always got direct slots because they dont integrate with other regions ..maybe they'll get a solitary slot similar to kr/jp in the upcoming yrs
It's really depends on how popular Valorant will be over there, but since the company that made it is Riot i think it will be pretty popular. So yeah i think they will get a direct slot just like LoL. It would be stupid from Riot if they didn't give China direct slot
true, i feel like chinese plays is counterpart of KR plays, most of them rely on aim without any utility setup
Valorant is the first big FPS in India, the most clout India ever had in FPS before was the forsaken drama and back then too csgo used to get 500-1000 viewers. This time there's good response from the community and Valorant is quite popular by the community standard for a fps game (tho nothing even near in comparison to the popularity of mobile games). There are a few good teams notably, Velocity, Enigma and Global Esports. Global esports fell hard recently and lost in APAC play ins, Velocity won a match in APAC groups but lost two others matches against FS, SBE and didnt qualify. India will have a team in Masters but it will take time
Tbh when there was cs nobody knew that there was a game called cs, it had less than 10000 player base in india at that time, val got popular due to pubg mobile ban and now we have 10x or more bigger player base, fps is relatively new for those 90000+ people so we need to wait till it get consolidated, china and India both are huge markets of mobile gaming (due to availability and affordability) so pc gaming needs to be polished
Valorant is not officially out in china yet. those chinese teams you see are still playing in HK servers
Tldr; we suck! because the same old Indian players which were in csgo dominating in india and losing to SEA teams are now in valorant. Although there are some young bloods like RGE but still they are not that good compared to top Indian players. India will only grow when new players come, also SA countries have very poor fps scene so in general SA needs to get competitive
I could see china will be one of top region but for india like any other game dota csgo lol they are actually terrible with their fans keep giving excuse like "pc games are still a new thing over here"
China will probably become a major region, tho I don't know when KEKW. For India........ It's really hard to say. Tbh I couldn't see them going to Master or Champion anytime soon based on their performance rn. But they might get a direct slot tho who knows.
