So as some of you might know I have depression and shit
I feel fking horrible as shit
But like I got a 10 min meeting and a group meeting for a project for uni, but I genuinely can’t get the energy to do anything besides maybe go gym and sleep the whole day
So do I call in sick or do I go cuz I feel empty asf

I mean no I won’t be happy but I won’t be happy either way and it drains me so much, even for 30 mins of uni + transport I need to take a nap after

underrated method is taking an evening or late night walk/run in a safe area with less noise and people and just zone out
helps reduce stress and anxiety a ton for me and boosts energy levels
or just pop some caffeine and chill

force yourself to go, you can do it. i been very depresseed the last few years and a lot of times i think i dont wanna do things and i force myself and it ends up being positive. you are sabotaging yourself by avoiding it. go

I mean I have been, but I’ve been trying really hard and last couple weeks everything has gotten worse and I hope by going gym and doing what I enjoy with the energy I have I might feel better. Although yes I get ur point which is why most times I force it

Well, I think there's nothing wrong with you. You're still living a good life.
Or you can treat yourself to anything you’re into with your hobbies, or try buying something new, like a new hat or a fresh hairstyle — anything positive things.

do you think going would be worth it?

idk i was (and am) in a very similar situation and i called in sick today because it just didn't feel like it was worth it for me to go, because i didnt prepare for the meeting and didnt prepare for the class

though it's not like NOT going was worth it either, because doing nothing makes me feel even worse i think
