There are public Universities in Brazil lol. People can graduate without sinking into debt. I did ;)

If you major in something useless then yes. But if you're trying to be a lawyer or doctor you can't exactly go without having the proper credentials
I mean, that's exactly what I was arguing. Going into $50-$100k debt to become a Doctor making $300k sounds pretty good to me. Now if you go for an Art History degree and wind up with any debt, that's on them for picking a useless degree, which is a bigger issue than the tuition cost in general.
Don't get me wrong, tuition cost is pretty bad at some colleges, but the people complaining about tuition aren't doctors (and other skilled STEM degrees) in the US.
I got a CS degree, graduated with no debt, and started out at 6 figures. Anyone in the US can choose this path, but they don't and then complain about it.

You have no home life as a truck driver and it sucks. There's also a difference between starting $105k and ending $105k. $105k was graduating salary, and I graduated with no debt, and I sit at home all day in my air conditioned room typing on a computer.
On top of that, I can google an Australia Truck Driver salary, it's average of $25-$35 an hour. Awful.
On top of that, 105,000 AUD is equivalent to $78,000. Pretty terrible top end salary to say the least.

i thought it would be cool to be a truck driver until i actually started driving and realized i didnât have the focus for it lol. music/podcasts help a bit, but i couldnât imagine the droning boredom of driving all day every day.
i made a 17 hour drive to visit my gfâs fam (we did it without stopping for sleep, how genius smh) and 16 hours back. i will never be doing that again. had a damn dog in the backseat too.
have you heard most the stuff you learn from university in at least computer science is outdated by the time you graduate? and thats assuming you're employed immediately after graduating. god forbid you wait to get a job cause the stuff you learned would be useless by then. but you do you enjoy cs

I live in the states, have for 10 years and I can tell you. Everyone I know, me included, is garbage at geography. But there's 100% some that are absolutely better than us so there's that too.

Yeah 100%. In my history class we had to take geography quizzes. And I would memorize the entire map then I would ace the quizzes and just forget the day after

Most people that lived in usa said its way easier and they learnt things that in their home country they learned years ago, or just random ppl from there not knowing basic geography, math or whatever. Ive also seen alot of spanish/french ppl that got in america and said that what they learn is braindead and is not the same language. My point is, the average US person is dumb because of their system education, just look at asian countries, even tho they are really poor in some areas, they still have the highest iq in average. After all your example was terrible because comparing iq to money is stupid, but ok
I think wealth correlates with opportunity and education. People in predominantly African and South East Asian countries are disadvantaged in this sense because a large proportion of its citizens cannot afford good education. Likewise, the cyclic and low economic state of each consecutive generation contributes minimally in terms of education, nutrition and general industrialisation of the country, factors which directly one's ability to obtain "wealth". Many people in these countries probably have higher IQs than you think, but majority do not the get the opportunity to apply this to a "wealth-gaining" profession.
