riot should ban DM leavers

People who leave DMs mid match should have at least some sort of punishment. I don't get why whenever I queue DMs, by the time I reach 30 kills, theres only 6 people left in the lobby... People queue DMs yet are too lazy to playout another 5-10 mins of gameplay?? This should be at LEAST a 10 min ban, and increases as people leave it more

I understand some people may argue that I can just leave it as well, but why should I have to do that when all this could've been prevented if people just played their deathmatches out.... if you're going to leave in 1 minute, why queue? If you find the ban suggestion annoying, then you'd know how annoying it is to also have people leave DMs and drag it to 15+ minutes.

Unironically true, if you’re remotely good at this game you get so many dm leavers if you start dominating a DM lobby for 1 picosecond

It's a chain reaction as well, as soon as 4-5 people leave everyone else starts leaving

This is a very rare occasion where I completely agree with what you've said. One fix they could try is making dm's only require like 25 or 30 kills to win rather than 40.

i dont play dms to win bro. once i feel warmed up, i leave. no one should care about winning or not, winning means nothing.

I 100% agree with this, but this would also mean that people are forced to play certain maps in DM. Ain't no way I wanna play DM on Abyss or some shit. If they would start banning people for leaving the DM, then they would also have to let us choose the map in DM

Riot should make DMs joinable mid game, take away the kill target, up the timer to 15 minutes, make siphon on kill, and fix the fucking spawns.

This might be one of the weirdest takes I have ever read here lmao. Why do you even care about winning a DM ? or getting first? It is meaningless , you genuinely queue up for that mode merely to warm up your movement and your aim. I don't leave DM myself, but I understand people who leaves, they had enough and want to queue comp or they were waiting for a friend to open, sometimes the lobby is so cringe as you have people camping spawns or staying in one place, holding an angel and adjusting their aim depending on foot steps sound, so you are practically getting 0 value out of that match and it is better to play another one! I think the DM system needs a complete overhaul ngl

don't tell anyone it's so easy to exp farm in DM, if you're afk nobody cares no one will report you. just leave any one key pressed.

nah, they should also allow you to leave team deadmatch too so you pracc only the weapons you want (pistol, guardian,etc)

I get where you're coming from but I think there's a better solution. Make it so dm is join/leave, either remove the time limit or target score, add a few AIs, make dm auto q, and be able to join while matchmaking for other modes.

just get 40 kills before they start leaving.. Skill issue.

DM is perfect to play when you don't know how much time you have left till like a friends joins, since you can just leave that shit, that's why it's nice.

my favorite thing to do in a dm is to stand still. while my character is still invincible, I hope to see someone waiting for it to wear off. then i shoot them in game
