Yes you will be assigned to a team of 5 players using a script to make balanced teams. The season will start in around 1-2 weeks mid august but i cant give you an exact time.

Last season a team of 2 ascendants 2 diamonds and a plat won
and before that it was a team of 2 immortals 1 ascendant 1 diamond and 1 gold
