babybay is not so obvious anymore besides the fact that it takes leaf aware from his better roles.

LEV? MIBR? hell they lost to mibr who lost to C9, thats literally only teams in theeir group not counting NRG, furia, thats rn like 5-6 teams i would put above them they look bad rn
3/4 maps g2 has lost this stage had a 2 round differential and your saying they look below their usual level. when your talking about a team as versatile as g2 who has adapted to every meta for the last 3 years and has made every playoffs since shanghai looking at results like this is meaningless. until g2 prove they are incapable you just cant doubt their system and especially teams like mibr and lev like dude they have looked good for 3 weeks i guess now in leviatans case but they have proved nothing when it gets to playoffs and their qualification is on the line who would you trust more leviatan or g2 who has been in that place so many times now. kru is the only team right now who is at such a high level i dont think g2 will be able to catch up during stage 1 but regardless they should still be making the event. also the c9 > mibr > g2 is so dumb bro this game is rock paper scissors its match up based its not "this team beat them so they are better than x" hopefully you understand what i mean.
teams have gotten better in americas now compared to 2025 you can’t deny that, it’s not gonna be an easy feat especially when C9 has the possibility of breaking their loss streak against G2 which puts them in the lower bracket. As for LEV and MIBR, this meta suits teams like them very well so they are obviously by no means easy opponents even if G2 rematch them.
If the players stop fucking around with harbor astra and play harbor viper or go back to double duelist instead in some of these maps I would be far more confident in them
you can dislike the meta read as much as you want they proved in kickoff they can pivot to the meta and win idk why you are worried about that. groups is literally the best time to experiment. as for americas "level up" its greatly overexaggerated the player quality has improved for sure but you still have coaches like onur gettings wins.

They look shit compared to their previous form tho I'm very sure they still make london I expect some of these teams to bottle playoffs and G2 to still make it.
If they grab third seed Alpha which is extremely likely then they would need a win over LEV/MIBR depending on who wins and then a win over most likely FURIA to make london.

The point was G2 lost to LEV in OT which shows they weren't that unevenly matched making the point G2 isn't that far behind these other teams that might contest them for london.
- Let the inner APAC in Jawgemo out by NOT making him team space-taking duelist, but traditional entry fragging duelist instead.
- Get south american player (good commodity rn), in place of babybay.
- Once qualified to London, bootcamp in apac to improve mechanics.

Like him or not Inspire is just gonna be better than babybay, He's a great senti player with a good vyse but can also flex off to cypher/KJ, sure you lose chamber but he's not really a requirement. You can put inspire on cypher with Leaf on viper, Jawg/Leaf double duelist with inspire viper, Inspire kj with Leaf on dive and jawg on phoenix or vice versa. Babybay plays mid duelist which works but leaf is just better than babybay I see NO reason to keep babybay and have leaf JUST play senti/viper. He's great, but he's also great on other roles-
Get someone else to play senti, Put leaf on flex, I've been saying this for the longest time. Leaf on Flex will FIX G2
pretty sure the pact is with asuna, i swear he has some serious blackmail on nadeshot or something
- drop trying to do harbor meta literally every map (its good on some maps but not worth forcing on every map)
- put jawg more on pheonix, just seems to be his comfort pick
- get a good neon player and get leaf back on senti (this assume neon doesn't get nerfed, if she does then i guess stick with babybay, but hopefully get a firepower upgrade for him next year)
jaw is very inconsistent man and he peeks a lot of non necessary angels i dont like that from him
