Copenhagen was won by a Chinese org🗿
I hope you sleep well too knowing that NAVI has one more trophy than LEV will ever have.
nope technically the trophy belongs to those players because NAVI had literally no influence on their run in 2022
Riot sabatoging us. Their bias towards NA is obvious. This is the only way NA can actually be good at the game, by actively sabatoging EMEA teams and their achievements
so then by this... china has 2 trophies?
China has won a champs and masters before pacific :?
calm down buddy. china has half of a masters and memea has half of a masters
nah 3 trophies those EG boys were wearing Wolves on their chest when they won
eu has only 2 real trophies and its tokyo and lockin. i dont count other trophies because game was very easy and nothing tactical just aim thats it. for me valorant esports is started with loud win champs 22, before the champs 22 events are compltely just aim. look at the winners now most of them are retired or streamer
gameplay was diffrent on that event, teams were doing alotof tactics and game had come tactically not just aim anymore. u should rewatch old events and u will understand my point
Every event evolved and improved after another, there was nothing special in champs 2022. Ive legit rewatched every old event in my free time
Chamber meta evolved and improved the game the most, it forced teams to have a way better understanding of how Valorant is supposed to be played, LOUD and Optic rivalry was the start of peak Valorant
2021 had >Redgar< winning games playing >Reyna< on Haven
Teams drastically improved event from event. your example of reyna is also nothing special.
something won on reyna against EG on Ascent (one of the most staple meta's ever) in 2023. If you are trying to argue its bad because its redgar, thats a terrible take. Because redgar was a top aimer in 2021 and fell off a cliff after m3c.
After the chamber meta, half the teams were clueless, look at 2023. There was may 4 good teams at the top level, 3 decent teams, and the rest of them were fucking lost T-T. I dont get why this is the period of improve you look at. If you wanna make this argument it either has to be start of 2023 (because thats when franchasing started) OR you look at 2024 (because thats when every team had kind of a decent floor, and the good teams started to peak)
nuh uh
2024 had 2 teams (GENG and TH) in all finals. And then maybe SEN, maybe EDG, maybe LEV, somwhere around 4-5 teams aswell, its normal. Just because there were less teams at the top, it doesnt mean it was worse
Redgar was not allat bro, you cant seriously compare him to something
because thats when every team had kind of a decent floor
its like u missed the whole point I chose 2024
and yes redgar was allat bro, why are we pretending he wasnt good at the game. he was an insane fragging igl on astra
it is nothing special now because 2022 was the blueprint for the next few years. kinda like how the Beatles arent special for today standards but thats because they pretty much created/popularized roughly 80% of what is here today
I can say every event is a blueprint for the future. Gambit were on of the first teams to play extremely slow fnatic style, and had excellent pre round ideas. Half of the viper shit from 2021 is still meta in 2026. Like im not saying team didnt improve from champs 2022 but I can argue almost every team improved from almost every event.
Sure but apart from specific time periods the evolution from 21 to 22 is still way bigger than 22 to 25 (only 26 seem to be having a big jump with double duelist but is early to say)
First of all, you are not including the entire year of 2022, only champs.
second of all, no? there is a massive gap every year. Every year teams understand the game to better a level and through the different meta are forced to learn different styles and variety, more teams also learn off better teams. The bottom level of 24, is massively different to the bottom level of 23. You can apply this to every year. The rate of change might be the highest during 21 -> 22, but its still high enough every year where you can see a visual difference in how good the teams are. The gap between 21-22, is not higher than any other 2 years combined
Right now I would say 24, is the best "starting year" because its when all the teams had a somewhat good idea how to play the game, but 3 years down the line im probably gonna say 2027 is a good starting year. So this argument is pretty stupid because as our understanding of the game changes, so does our perception on when "good" valorant was
Ah shit, if Artorias don't count the trophies then it's cooked!
Oh wait ...
By that logic, a German org won the treble in Americas last year. NA actually hasn't won a stage since 100T
Indifferent, honestly. I liked old Harbor, I don't really care about new Harbor
NA EMEA and APAC had 3 masters total until APAC got the 4th one this year. 4 in a row. W streak.
