Tbf I'd prefer getting shit on by cheaters 24/7 than deal with the people in ranked
atleast it's fun watching cheaters run around and do crazy shit than watching monkeys play ranked
Tbh you'll do that in both games no matter what at least they don't have braindead reyna players in cs so that makes it feel better
Both are buns but at least it feels less winnable vs cheaters these bums must be magicians with how they turn free wins into 16-14 games
its not about fun its just easier to aim and the average person doesnt have good aim
its harder in direct gun fights but you dont have sliding neons, 15 pieces of util to shoot and a waylay dashing in slowing you, you just stare at your crosshair and shoot
just not true, the thing i hate the most in cs is the shooting.
Only reason i play val over cs is bc val's shooting mechanics are 10x better
subjective i think. shooting in val is alot more accurate but i found cs more entertaining for me
i play both cs2 and val
val hitreg feels much more consistent and accurate to me than cs2 hitreg
cs2 movement feels like im skating on ice i never liked it
valorant solo queue is one of the most miserable experiences ever tbh
cs2 is more fun for soloqueue because its less team reliant and your game agency is higher as an individual player
for example, in valorant if your controller is full boosted and drops the worst smokes ever, its not like you can buy smoke nades and throw your own smokes
you just gotta suck it up and get dragged down by some shitter
same with throwers and afks
if any role in valorant goes afk or starts throwing you lose a big chunk of game options
Same with cs2 tho no? People could be afk or like throw and you have like a higher chance to lose
if you just shoot more people the overall gameplay isn't really affected, since everyone has the exact same utility
if your initiator, space creator, or controller disappear in valorant you lose a lot more
since valorant util is so much stronger and unique to agents, losing a full roles worth of unique utility just cuts out 1/4 of the game's intended gameplay options
valorant is killing itself by making the game stupider and stupider

valorant ranked is dreadfully bad and has been so for over a year. i think people are just tired of it now, and aren’t tolerating it as much
i know 17 people who quit and wont come back until neon is deleted or nerfed to irrelevancy
cs2 reached it's peak player count only one year ago in april and it's current average daily players is higher than the peak player count in 2016 and 2021 (years often considered as peak csgo due to Operation wildfire and riptide and just how good the state of the game was in general). even though the graph is going up and down short term it's still trending upwards long term and cs2 is getting more popular as time goes on. CS2 isn't suddenly growing again.
cs2 market is unregulated and any update at any time can effect it. I personnaly just buy skins i like for the sake of having them because at the end of the day investing in cs skins is just gambling. I don't personnaly recommend investing in cs2 knives, if your going to get one, get it because you want to use it.
pls think of it as gambling and dont spend any money you aren't willing to loose.
I have a classic knife vanilla in cs, not as an investment, but because i like it. and if it goes up because the game gets way more popular then thats great for me ig.
Unregulated? Didn’t they just add the xray scanners for cases in some countries and stuff? I wonder if they’d become like val where you can’t trade skins and in game items
i started playing valorant again during this act after almost 3 years. In latam at least (lower ranks where's the majority of people) people just seems tired of it, they are playing like zombies, speak (if they happens to do it) like their having the worst time of the day, go afk, disconnect after losing a pistol, eco or a bonus, complain or whine about "cheaters" or people who's better than them.
I know some years have passed, but seems changes and the state of the game has taken it's toll on people. Idk how much the game changed during this years because i stopped playing when Deadlock was announced (not even released), and for me this it just have more variables (agents) and stuff to learn.
