I don't really care too much about ENC but if uk wants to be a contender, it's best to have boaster play initiator since there isn't really a strong scan player in T2. Then pick up a controller/duelist like sevire

If it is knockout stage like world cup. I expect a round of 16 or quarterfinals purely off jinggg raze popoff. I think Korea are number 1 favorites and then USA, Brazil, and Turkey (this is on the assumption there will be no russians participating)

this is more important than all the other tournaments of the year combined, and anyone who disagrees clearly doesnt have any national pride.... and i hope the players/coaches understand that because im already seeing some bullshit leaks (like lohan refusing the offer to coach portugal)
I don't think so it's more important than any of the tournament yet. many people will prio offseason prep over it which is totally understandable
yea for coaches and players it is because your main job and your money earner is still the regular season with your team, but for the viewers its not even close.... the passion of supporting a team will never come close to supporting your home country regardless of the sport/e-sport

i mean people nowadays have no sense of pride in their country, especially in Valorant, so i wouldnt even be surprised if what you are saying is true but there are still countries like Brazil and Turkey that im sure share my feelings from what ive been seeing
In first place it's just esports and on top of that not even an official world championship and it's just a Saudi funded event like ewc so many still don't care about it as much but many do too tho.
what does it matter if its esports or not? the fifa world cup matters for people who are passionate about football the same way ENC would apply about someone who is passionate about esports
secondly EWC and ENC comparisons make no sense, EWC is a less prestigious international tournament of the respective game being played, ENC is something that doesnt exist in any major esport (as far as im aware of)
For val at least it's fun event tho case of how many countries can be good but the time to prep for it is too low imo. It still need more time to be stable enough I think and hopefully becomes an official riot event not off season event.
i watched the portugal games and the only reason i didnt watch the other games was because there wasnt a single T1 player which at the time was understandable due to scale/prize pool/date so i assumed ENC would be different but im seeing some bad signs
Remember also that this is probably the last year that all the big names might be in this tournament. IN CS, for example, it's impossible because of scheduling and other things. maybe im wrong tho, lets see how it develops!
