This 👆, its shameless how they bought judge for 9 gun rounds. Nongshim looks good but lets be honest without neon they wouldn't be where they are now. This meta alone is frustrating for a lot of teams to adjust to and on top of that they now have to deal with all that RNG.
a guy can abuse neon and win champs in 2024 but since its 2026 and its the first masters its "mickey" son they're 12 team masters now 😭😭
Nah neon wasn't this oppressive in 2024 cause sentis back then weren't this shit. Also no double duelist meta too so macro mattered more as well. Edg had some really good macro and anti strats.

Yeah it was broken for sure but it didn't feel this oppressive ngl. It's mainly cause of the senti nerfs as I said.
2 slides, MAX accuracy while sliding (the current accuracy is equal to crouch shooting), and double ult duration, 1 less orb for ult
Again it didn't feel this oppressive. I don't think neon had this much impact. Teams still had it easier to counter that neon than this. It's not comparable tho cause this is double duelist meta with nerfed senti so it makes duelist have more impact than ever before not just neon.

since the nerf to sentinels and initiators, all of this has boosted those aggressive duelist plays even more because there’s nothing that can stop them from rushing the site holding W until they’re kissing the bomb wall
bbl and ns are two teams that abuse this a lot and i personally don’t find it satisfying to watch, just my opinion

it obviously isn’t that easy, if only two teams manage to play like that. G2 tried that against PRX and got shit on, if anything it shows that it’s a skill issue
and even now on split, NS won 8-4 on defense and almost lost when on attack, so it’s very easily stoppable

Don't think it makes the gun that broken tho ngl if you increased the draw time the gun would barely see use

They conditioned a fast rush the entire game then sent Xross to solo fake B presence with a fade prowler, causing A rotation thru screens which they punished with a T side OP
yeah, in one round or another it’s fun, but half the rounds in the series are just a neon rushing with a shotgun shooting at everything and succeeding because it’s impossible to stop her since sentinels are useless

A good team will be able to adapt to this style
NRG vs BBL is a good example, NRG hard countered the BBL A ramp control in multiple rounds

I know this meta is absolutely horrible, but this kind of braindead meta comes around, and you can’t take credit away from the winner even if it is not NS. Blame Riot for stupid meta, but you cant really say NS dont deserve it if they win cuz they abuse neon and judge. All other duelists can use it too.

yeah, obviously the teams that use this and take advantage of the meta deserve credit because not everyone managed to organize themselves to do it, the blame is only on riot. if sentinels and initiators hadn’t been nerfed so hard, especially sentinels, the games wouldn’t be this unpleasant to watch.
man, every round there’s a neon with a shotgun running and shooting at everything that moves in a crazy rush, that’s fun in one round or another but the high frequency is awful because it became so strong that it turned into a win condition
they’re an ascension team so personally i’d like to see them win the event, probably the most out of any team.
bbl winning would realistically be good for the scene
