Thats a silly argument to make. Miniboo started using Neon to a good standard and show what it can do until kangkang started to abuse Neon and finally won a trophy. If Neon stays unchecked, every team will start having Neon players and perfecting what Dambi is doing and then it would be unbearable to watch
then how come no other neon is doing what he does? if you watched the game you can clearly see that he gets setup for his plays extremely well and dambi is just winning the fights. if neon was this broken forever then why did teams stop playing her

Last year she was only really played on sunset and occasionally lotus, but that was shortlived
also a couple teams played her on haven
also fracture when it was around (obv), but other than single teams playing comfort picks in 2025, neon is viable on almost if not every map in this split
Since when did teams stop playing her? 2024 was the start of the neon meta and Shanghai and Seoul teams was starting to play her. 2025 2 of the teams that won a trophy last year played Neon and Mada was playing into to a higher standard then the year before. Now this year, we have sentinels nerfed and double duelist meta is so prevalent that the Neon becomes too prevalent.
Neon was not in the meta comps on most maps last year. Sunset, fracture (shortlived), lotus (shortlived), and haven (only some teams) were maps where she saw regular play
I like how you choose to ignore the rest of my statement. Sentinels werent nerfed in 2025 and double duelist werent that common to see other than APAC. Sunset,Fracture,Lotus are notoriously Sentinel heavy maps so you are just proving my point(Cypher,KJ and Vyse)

if neon is only strong because of weak sentinels, then why was she meta on the maps you listed last year?
How am I contradicting my point? My point is that Neon is too OP now because of those nerfs which was why no teams has made Neon look impossible to kill last year, Like I said earlier Neon is good but not to the point of being OP because these sentinels exists
MiniBoo is nothing compared to Dambi, he has been showing what the best neon player can be ever since SPG.
Yea it looks good but literally all strats go out the window with a neon odin/shotgun combo

It's simply the result of the best mechanical neon player being set up by his team, not "just" run and gun, emphasis on the just
i like this infinitely more than waylay meta bro id rather see cool and unique movement than just dash saturate recall for 13 rounds in a row
I’d rather watch this more than 4 minute rounds only being won because of an Odin wall dink 4 seconds before an exec
