this year specifically all of AMER is trying to copy PRX and, what do you know, PRX know exactly how to play against it
it’s no surprise NRG came the closest to beating them and probably could’ve won were it not for f0rsaken becoming god himself in the final round
that makes sense, but furia and nrg didn’t try to play like them, only g2 did, and that’s why they were the team that had the least chance of beating them
we need another region to take these guys down and then the masters is ours
tbh the nrg vs prx game wasn't as close as people think. On haven, nrg won 2 pistols, 2 bonuses and had to make a comeback just for it to be close. f0rsaken hero round is just a correction to nrg overperformance ngl.
i mean a 3 map series where all three maps could’ve been taken by either team is objectively a very close series
only the first one was a toss up. The second and third were not really close given that the losing team won both pistols. if we replay the match 10 more times, map1 would have been the only deciding factor.
realistically it’s just Americas being unlucky some rounds and probably just not being able to really turnaround momentum very well. I feel like the region relies a lot on snowballing and when you get against a white hot paper rex every round is losable by some innate bullshit.
well, yeah, but that applies to most regions, right? if you get snowballed it becomes really hard to come back into the match, there are only a few teams that can overcome that.
Istg paper rex will always find a way to win the most unwinnable round ever, like how the fuck.

Americas can’t out the aggressiveness of prx, they are just cheap imitation compared to prx.
