Now that Alym is coming we definitely can rate them higher again but I’m worried that they might be a little off because they skip to playoffs and if I had to guess they haven’t been practicing for a while now. I know koala said he had a decent amount of time off on a stream pre Santiago and with the alym news I doubt they practiced.
Where do we rate them standing wise?
I wish they played the previous games to warm up. I am still just happy my goats got to make it.
Yeah same warming up is always good especially for a rookie team like this but I still rate them higher again and as long as they get through the first match they can really do something
What’s your reasoning? You think they just won’t be as good as kickoff or just all these issues + the international pressure is too much for them right now?
i think that they'll still do pretty well, but its undeniable that there are so many factors against them like prac with alym, first international for koala, nerve, and alym, and the fact that they won't have practice matches beforehand.
I don’t think international pressure will get to them if they’re going to keep the underdog mentality every game
It depends on how much they practiced to improve their gameplay really
I just dont trust them as a team personally
I think most of their style is extremely readable and anti-able now that there are vods out and honesty considering we have seen artzin's igling fail before on mibr I would say he might struggle in certain situations with them not getting reps in on stage
personally i think they’ll struggle against pacific teams but should be okay against everyone else
I think their individuals are just mechanically middling honestly, they're probably the worst team at santiago if we're talking about mechanics (aside from koala's oping if that counts). they could get away with it in americas since they had the best meta read but against teams playing similar comps I highly doubt they'll do well. their fundamentals are good so I can see them beating a team if they play badly but I think it's more likely they go 0-2
My guess is that they will lose the first game in 3 maps(will get better as the game goes on) and then win second game and lose by a bit in the 3rd
