Terrible terrible bait. Have a nice day lol

posted 4 days ago

This guy was a top t2 player for the past 2 years and had a mid half split with Navi when there were clearly many factors that affected the performance.

I’ll be back! If I’m wrong then I’m wrong

posted 4 days ago

Definitely not the problem but wasn’t able to shine on a team like this imo (didn’t use his jett once and played gross coops in a Tejo breach meta) Will do great on other teams but I think it was a win for NAVI Alexik suits them very well by the looks of it and it’ll be a win for koala if he gets on another team

posted 4 days ago

Down for the koala vouch he’d do so good in NA especially if he plays jett

posted 1 week ago

I love the stats argument because when you watch the games you see this guy running through countless util in a breach Tejo meta when NAVI were running double smokes or some whacky stuff. Sure he wasn’t the greatest that he could play but holy was it rough to watch him dry fight almost everything on executed

I’m not saying this out of the blue koala in his lft tweet said he’s open to igling. M80 guys said he’s incredibly vocal and he himself said on streams he was probably the most vocal person on NAVI besides ANGE1

Obviously if it doesn’t work it doesn’t work but NAVI need just 1 or 2 more changes to be top tier and I don’t see any harm in trying it for 2 more matches + potential playoffs

-ange1 +koala joins as igl flex since he’s under contract still and you try it till end of season

The team looks so close to being good but ange1s performances are really rough

Koala is a really great flex player and said he wanted to igl if a team is interested in that

Statistically him and Ruxic were the best lol. Koala also was highest fkpr in the entire league running comps that literally do not help him at all def or atk side.

I get you’re hating on him because he’s from NA but you don’t need to lie. He’s gone and a team you enjoy has a solid player in alexik to replace him. No need to slander when both players have incredible passion and are very good. He works so hard to provide for his fiancé and kid.

Those were the types of teams I was thinking about also. Even LEV for example I could see a -okeanos +Koalanoob type of move

The Nismo koala duo needs to happen again I don’t think it will though.

Ya him and M80 would’ve been great in Americas. Next season I hope he comes back to NA even if it’s not as duelist

posted 1 week ago

Not true he literally got interviewed after a match saying they asked him would he join if Happy wasn’t chosen and he said yes. He had other offers almost confirmed but NAVI was 100% so he said he took it to be safe

posted 1 week ago

He’s streamed and said he’d love to play duelist again because he knows he can do way more and I’d love to see it (he’s been grinding neon like crazy so to have that added is great) he didn’t show his Jett which is by far his best agent this season so people didn’t get the best idea of him.

He also said he’d be open to smokes as he’s played it a ton on M80 and said he’s learning flex if he needs to igl on either of them.

I’m a HUGE fan of him so I’m biased but having a player that’s willing to give up duelist and go whatever a team needs is very selfless and he’d bring incredible value.

I’ve said this already but koala had to play WEIRD comps in a yoru breach Tejo meta where he had double smokes for example and little to no initiator help and still topped fkpr split 1..

I’m sure it was just a disagree in view of the game between him and ANGE1. All of his past teammates have said he’s incredibly positive and a great player. I hope he can show what he can do next season and I think it’s unfortunate people saw him not show what he’s capable of

posted 1 week ago

Get koala back in this current meta and he will stomp for sure

posted 2 weeks ago

Of course a proven IGL will always be a better option than the risk of a new one I agree with you there!

But I think if navi don’t wanna spend even more money this could be a super interesting move.

I heard in a video/stream cannot remember koala and ange1 had different views of the game so maybe a new vision of how to play with this roster could do a lot (same can be said about any igl they get though just if they can’t afford)

posted 1 month ago

Ya I can see that for sure but to give him the benefit of the doubt he’s never shown his other roles except smokes which he clearly can play at a good level. I’d trust him enough to grind whatever other roles he’d need to be on. And like I said it’d be till end of season to test how it’d go.

Unfortunately for ANGE1 these numbers are unacceptable at this day and age of IGL’s where most top teams have good enough fragging igls. Look at Boaster. Even he improved a ton this year.

I’m sure he is. I just said koala 1. Because I’m a fan and 2. He’s still under contract w/ navi and I think they probably won’t want another new person to give money to. This would be a fix till next year and see how it panned out.

Team has issues even with new player

-ange1
Bring back koala since he’s under contract still. He was LFT as multiple roles including wanting to try igl. Try until end of season and go from there.

I watched him since first year M80. He started as a Jett 1 trick and fuck is he good on it but he’s very flexible now and has said in interviews he plays whatever the team needs him to. But yeah, I still support NAVI because of how he praised them but I expected it to be similar results. Seems like it’s a system problem more than duelist. Like I said earlier they played these weird comps on a Tejo breach yoru meta and watching the matches was brutal of him tping in dry then getting stunned rocketed etc. I expected the same stuff to happen to Alexik which will be very unfortunate for him because he seems like he has good potential as a player.

Koalanoob played in Tejo meta with weird comps that did not set him up at all and got obliterated by utility. If NAVI ran even 1 of these comps they ran this tourney with him and the meta change post-Tejo nerfs they most likely would’ve won today.

I feel like people don’t actually watch the matches and see score lines. I’m a fan of koala so very biased but he’s playing with comps that give him 0 support (ascent deadlock cypher, split double smokes, haven double senti etc) I do agree he needs to get more consistent because it’s been very average, but I feel like I’m seeing him need to tp, satchel everything dry and it seems like it must be so hard to play for him.

Would be so nice to see both Jonah and Koala qualify

See now this is a fair reply. He still can improve and to me at least he is improving a lot especially now that he has a good raze (one trick jett/kinda yoru in past) so when I see players like this that show signs of improvement and growth I don’t like hate that gets thrown onto them because it shows that they grow versus some other players that get stagnant.

Maybe bias because I followed M80 a lot, but I believe he can become that player one day (as well as rest of ex m80)

Judge him on debatably his worst series here so far.. what about the fnatic game where he was single handily winning rounds with the rifle. He may not be ELITE with it, but on a normal day he’s good enough for t1 level of play AND his op is top of all of partnership.

posted 4 months ago

It’s so funny seeing people judge players based off of scoreline. He has close to highest fkpr in the league so where is this “non aggressive” play you’re seeing coming from?

He is a major hype man and completely runs it down for his team even when he has an off performance. To me he seems like a big piece to why this navi roster is working. I’ve watched M80 for their 2 year run and I can tell you he’s nowhere near in normal levels of skill and is still doing great. Just wait till he finds himself again.

0/10 bait

Yes for sure

Underperforming but also overhyped by fans. If you watched m80 you’d know Koalanoob was by far their most impactful selfless player and I’d even argue nismo was ahead of zander when it came to impact. Hopefully he finds his form soon
