Oh this post isn’t even like an overreaction from today. It’s more just a general statement about how Furia have debatably one of if not the best OP player in the world and he’s stuck on omen duty (still doing great). But when you look back at kickoff this guy was literally the main reason they qualified to masters.

I guess the team isn’t Chamber pilled and trust they can win without the heavy OP presence.

posted 1 day ago

Yeah Furia played more bad today but this was the route I didn’t want them to go. Every map koala is able to play make on they seem incredible (their new Pearl comp for example) he does so much. But since he seems to be the teams main smoker now there’s a lack of OP presence on their team and even when alym brings it out it’s nothing near koalas (alym rifle is crazy though right now happy to see such a big turnaround)

Furia did so good at kickoff because of koalas OP so why are they forcing him on permanent omen duty versus some chamber maps where he can OP)

I hope they keep winning but still pretty sad to see as a fan my favourite player can’t OP when he’s arguably best in the world with it.

posted 1 day ago

I like eeiu too because him and koala also work insane together would be a sick duo to join

posted 4 days ago

Yes by the sounds of it

posted 4 days ago

Yeah this will work so well please go to those teams I beg

posted 4 days ago

Yes 2 imports but I think rosters that stick whole year can stick together

posted 4 days ago

I dont know how it works. I heard about if you have a roster you can stay with them but Furia probably will choose Brazil for fans. I doubt these guys wanna live there especially koala who has a family. He’d prefer NA with G2/NRG

posted 4 days ago

G2 would make “more” sense because they really need a good OP/aggresive player who can switch up his style of play.

NRG would also be insane but probably less OP potential because mada uses it a bit

posted 4 days ago

Next year if Furia go to Brazil I hope that G2 go for koalanoob over babybay or NRG go for him if keiko decides to go back to EU. Would just be an insane move by either team.

Please don’t hate let me fanboy in peace thank you

posted 4 days ago

Ah I see ok this makes more sense now sorry for misunderstanding

posted 5 days ago

Koalanoob not being at the top is laughable. Has OP’d the best on Yoru and now he’s able to replicate the same value on omen and PHOENIX of all agents whereas outside of Neon and maybe Aspas all these other guys have fell off post Yoru nerfs

posted 5 days ago

So you don’t like him because… he punched a piece of bread 3 years ago?? WHAT

posted 6 days ago

I think the big difference is his OP has always been world class genuinely top 1-3 most of his time playing but his rifles always been inconsistent. An “off” game for him is now his older good games with the rifle that’s how much better it’s gotten. For a completely 1 trick Jett in the past to turn it around and literally play whatever his team needs (he’s said this and shaw has also said koala literally will play whatever I ask doesn’t matter how crazy it is). How can you not want a guy like this?

posted 6 days ago

His daughter is 2 years old! For sure he compliments his wife for doing so much but still to just balance this life + just casually pull out whatever character his team needs and get value with it kills or not is just awesome. It’s a mini f0rsaken in the making.

posted 6 days ago

I say this every time but how is it possible for this guy who’s a dad to just flex whatever role his team needs and fry, be the most vocal player in the mid round and be a confident space creator/support when he needs to be. His stocks are truly at the highest they’ve been and I’d be confused if one of the partnership teams don’t get him next year. Majority of his ex teammates have said the nicest things for him. Truly the perfect teammate. So happy to have been a fan since early days.

posted 6 days ago

Depends which route Furia decided to go. Art said in an interview it’s no secret how impactful and everything koala was but if he goes the full smoke route alym might struggle. If they go the chamber route, they’ll probably be better off because koala is a beast with the OP and doesn’t put the pressure on alym to try and replicate the same OP gameplay.

posted 6 days ago

As far as I know the guys just came back to LA after their break post masters. This art situation must be a more recent thing so maybe they use basic if he does need surgery.

posted 3 weeks ago

Yeah losing your igl will be hard for a more rookie team like this one. Really sucks if that’s the case

posted 3 weeks ago

Koalanoob was streaming tonight and said Furia hasn’t practiced since masters because there’s a chance Artzin doesn’t play early split 1 as he might’ve messed up his shoulder and will need surgery. Hopefully isn’t the case and he recovers but what an unfortunate situation for the team.

posted 3 weeks ago

Not trying to argue just wanna hear thoughts why everyone thinks Furia will fall off?

They went 2/12 in pistols and had like 4 days to practice with alym in Masters yet they did pretty good despite going 0-2 for a lot of their first internationals.

Yoru nerf is not gonna be a problem for this team unless alym still cannot op at all and they go koala permanent smokes over some chamber/other flexes so he can.

I think Furia is gonna go the NRG route with double initiators more now and both art and nerve can flex those roles. This’ll hopefully give alym more support as he’s been struggling despite his potential as a player.

posted 1 month ago

I think they’ve been good friends since High school and she doesn’t play games so it’s a double win for him

posted 1 month ago

His fiancée is literally his best friend she’s in his stream from the second it starts to the second it ends and I assume they call after.

It’s all about the right person and it seems like he found one.

posted 1 month ago

This guy has like 400 games on stream on top of all the practice he puts in and says sometimes he may not even have time to talk to his Fiancée. He really wants to make a longterm career so he can settle down at a younger age and enjoy life with his kid and girl. I love it

I hope he continues to thrive in VCT for years to come on top of him being one of if not the nicest pro will also motivate so many people that are getting older and think they don’t have a chance. This guy with a 2 year old daughter is popping heads. So motivating.

posted 1 month ago

I like bang but no. Koala clears him currently on smokes

posted 1 month ago

Koala has proven he can flex on omen perfectly fine but yeah never picking a map where koala can start off hot seems super rough for this roster

posted 1 month ago

Theres a lot that can be said about them but the one thing that makes me sad as a big fan is how different the game felt from the Furia we saw at kickoff.

I felt like Furia did not prioritize koalas OP at all this event (probably the biggest factor to why they got here) and even when he had one literally he never had teammates supporting him. On a total isolation island. You can never thrive like that.

They also completely changed their playstyle. It felt like they were robots listening to a gameplan every single round when in kickoff they just did proactive stuff together and knew when to change the pace.

I’m sure they learned a lot and while the whole roster didn’t perform up to the level they can, when Split 1 begins I’m sure they will be back to the way that made them good and loveable. Sad day to be a Furia fan and well played to BBL! Was the better team today.

posted 1 month ago

Someone save koala from the chains of alym running it down

Finally is proving himself this year and has a duelist that is either ok or completely abysmal and is gonna fuck his performance because of it

posted 1 month ago

It’s sad because both teams are great and people will judge either team that loses tomorrow but any other matchups for them and they could’ve both had a good run.

Similar map pools if I had to guess maps it’ll be

Abyss
Haven
Split decider

Could be a 2-1 either way as a big Furia glazer I can’t even be confident in them with the way Alym Nerve and Art played yesterday.

Just pray koala and eeiu don’t have an off day and the other guys are a coinflip

posted 1 month ago

I am thinking. Furia has the chance to pickup N4RRATE a proven insane player and no disrespect to Nerve he’s just struggling

posted 1 month ago

I think you all are missing my point.

While I do think their chemistry is great and they are doing good you can clearly see they have problems when eeiu and koala aren’t performing but it was hidden from the insane performances from koala in kickoff and while I also agree they can wait till after split 1 results, when you have someone like N4RRATE for example available why not go for it?

They have a small firepower issue and it was clearly seen when the usual performers had an off day.

posted 1 month ago

If Furia go out 0-2 do you think they make roster changes?

If so who do they get?

Nerve and Alym just seem so inconsistent and I’d assume it’d be one of them. Probably Nerve because no great duelists available and Alym shows he has the mechanics to be good.

posted 1 month ago

Is Furia forever gonna be the team that’s “lucky to get places” because of their names?

These guys clearly work hard and destroyed in North America and even did good in their first international match.. they can easily win out in lower bracket.

While I agree the skill might be a little less than some international opponents as a whole of the roster at the very worst they got 2 world class players in eeiu and especially koala that can keep doing magic to bring Furia far. It’s a matter of art keeping the consistency he did in kickoff as an igl and fragging and the 2 rookies stepping up because so far it’s been more a disappointment from those 2 than super impressive.

posted 1 month ago

Koalanoob on Furia as sad as it is to say

posted 1 month ago

Furia had it in the bag especially if they won pistol their split is probably their 2nd best map and if you watched their regional matches they literally were a well oiled unit but today they just were clearly nervous and not willing to fight for space.

I’m not discrediting PRX they played great and deserved the win but for not winning any pistols and looking rough compared to kickoff it was closer than it should’ve been

posted 1 month ago

Sad to see them lose like that when it truly was a close match outside of breeze.

I feel like the teams a little disconnected right now compared to kickoff. Eeiu was baiting pretty hard for stats although he had some nice rounds, Artzin and Nerve were playing pretty scared/gave up a lot of needed space, even Koala who I glaze hard had a rougher series than usual (many heroic plays to give them advantages and good spots though) although I feel like Furia did NOT utilize his OP at all this series but to be honest the big finger point goes to Alym. He seems like such a skilled player but has never fully shown it and this series might be a big confidence breaker for him. People say he’s just a dive for the team duelist but if you really pay attention he’s individually making some pretty rough decisions and honestly was probably the reason Furia lost today.

Having your duelist go 7/17 fk/fd and -20 just makes everyone’s life 100x harder and I hope he can bounce back because damn I feel like everyone can see Furia truly are the real deal but with a currently inconsistent duelist like this they may start to slip as a team.

posted 1 month ago

That was a tough one for me I feel like arts had crazy impact in kickoff but yeah I can definitely see the argument to swap it more in d4v41s favour a bit

posted 1 month ago

I know PRX strength is unknown random decisions mid round + their incredible aim but cmon you can’t say Furias aim isn’t close to theirs this isn’t a radiant vs silver they will be able to hold their own for sure in that department

posted 1 month ago

I just wonder if Furia has a bigger plan because their best 2 maps are Abyss and Split and PRX bans Abyss. So does Furia ego check PRX on split or do they float it to map 3?

posted 1 month ago

Alym =< Jingg
Nerve << Forsaken
Eeiu = Invy
Koalanoob >> Something
Artzin >= D4v41

This is not historically this is kickoff to now obviously PRX > Furia if that’s the case.

As for maps I see:

FUR ban Bind (they have to ban it they lose every game on it)

PRX ban abyss

FUR pick Breeze
PRX pick Haven

FUR ban Corrode (unless they are hiding something crazy have never played before?)
PRX ban Pearl

Split decider (both teams love the map so I think it’ll float to map 3)

2-1 Furia (bias)

Only change I can see is Furia going Split instead of breeze

Would love to hear your guys’ opinion!

Seems like they are not lying when they say sticking to their underdog mindset. They seem to enjoy the uphill battle of improvement and this match will hopefully be a nice statement

posted 1 month ago

I watch koalanoob most streams and his mindset (idk if it’s for the whole team) is such a good one

He always says he’s 100% confident making all these internationals with this roster and if they wanna win them they gotta dive in facing the strongest teams otherwise he believes they might improve at a slower rate/if at all internationally. To be the best you gotta beat the best. I’m always rooting for him and I hope it’s a banger match

posted 1 month ago

I get everyone will always praise PRX and still underestimate Furia because as good as they looked in kickoff it’s still hard to say where they stand internationally but I really think Furia has a shot to win and didn’t pick PRX for no reason.

You gotta remember PRX seem to ban abyss which historically seems like Furias best map right now so clearly they have some sort of gameplan.

Whether they win or lose I’m sure it’ll be an awesome match and will be a big growing experience for a young rookie team like this one

posted 1 month ago

Haven’t lost to Americas since 2024… but they haven’t faced these boys before. I believe in them!!

posted 1 month ago

ITS GONNA BE SO HYPE

posted 1 month ago

His tweet about picking PRX first pick or not was awesome to hear. I watch all his streams and he always was talking about to chat how excited he is to face PRX

IM TERRIFIED BUT I BELIEVE WE CAN BREAK THIS PRX VS AMERICAS CURSE

posted 1 month ago

Furia vs PRX will feed generations I hope it’s a banger

posted 1 month ago

Watching koalanoobs stream and he just said Furia has a plan on who they wanna pick but only 2 teams qualified so unless they are 100% expecting a team to make tomorrow that probably means they wanna pick PRX..

IM SHITTING BRICKS

2-0

posted 1 month ago

Yeah they’ll be completely fine the guys have been grinding they just need to work on whatever issues they have. Their style of play can’t suddenly disappear because they haven’t scrimmed just get koala an OP and let alym run around and do stuff
