Genuine question. Hating the guy since before he debuted and still going on even after him performing like a beast for the last year and half. He doesn't even trash talk or anything like that. I don't get the hate?

a lot of them hate him cuz tenz hyped him and he didn't win champs immediately as all the generational talents do
I mean after what we have seen the past 18 months, I would say he deserved the hype no?
I remember the amount of hate TenZ got because he said Primmie > Aspas when it came to mechanics and that Primmie is a rifling genius.
He did not lie.
TenZ had a great point about that, when it comes to game sense and decision making alone that makes aspas a better player than primmie he was never saying hes better than aspas
that's a really poor reason to hate, and a very dumb one as well cuz there is a genuine case for primmie's mechs to be better than Aspas' (in ranked)
no one hates primmie unless youre a drx fan. he doesnt even say/do any interview, just shows up shoots and go home
Kyedae said on stream a while ago that TenZ said that primmie was better than aspas mechanically because of how primmie was holding angles on scrims
And then primmie got a lot of hate for that. Kyedae then said that aspas is the undisputed GOAT, and the TenZ thing was just to hype up a new player. TenZ also already said that aspas is the best
But primmie got very popular because of that in 2024, that was prime LEV aspas and suddenly there was this new player from APAC ranked that is supposed to be "better than aspas"
He got a lot of fans because of his potential but also a lot of haters because of the sudden "overrating"
bc t0nz tried to kill his confidence in rookie year by calling him undisputed goat (which is true and tenz is a ball knower but uve gotta give time for the non-ball knowers to catch on)
In the same year Tenz also said that Cs was the better game, had the better movement and it was more fun to play.
This is your ball knower.
Because people are emotional and very loyal to Aspas so it’s hard for them to hear that someone could be mechanically better
