obviously in 2023 she was good in that meta but the last 2 years and still now the strategy just has been bad outside of a few maps here or there. originally i thought it was a roster issue with the previous core but im not so sure now.

lets give it some time. and lets acknowledge that she doesnt have the best pieces to work with

and dgz is her project this year she thinks she can turn him into a superstar
not saying she has the best roster ever but the problems aren't really player related imo its defensive set ups and attack defaults
if she does nothing with this roster all year id be convinced shes a fraud ngl
eg have a good roster apart from supamen and clearly they have money given they have an academy team. stop the cope
You don‘t know how coachable or manageable the players are, or how the different personalities clash
The way I see it the only actually good players she worked with after 23 were jaw and yay, and even then yay was a shadow of his former self (obv I‘m not counting 26 yet)
But I get where the doubts come from.

If you rate Icy higher that’s fair, I just never saw much potential in either icy individually or the rosters after 23. This years roster seems different on paper, but we‘ll see throughout the year
There’s no other coach gets this much unfair criticism imo
The coaches of the other bottom feeder teams from americas and other regions don’t get critiqued like this
Potter’s getting criticized like she has prime 2023 fnc and she’s mismanaging them or something
Because every other coach gets fired for consistent bad performances lol. Just looking at Americas: LOUD, 100T, KRU, FURIA, NRG, and LEV all replaced their head coach within the last 6 months (most of which had better performance then EG)
zikz got called a terrorist and was kicked despite winning a regional. the loud coach got called a terrorist and kicked. mibr coach got kicked despite being a champs winner. itopata got called a terrorist and kicked despite an americas trophy and 3rd place at champs. "no coach gets this much unfair criticism" could not be further from the truth. if anything, potter gets unfair benefit of the doubt
she would do well because she can rouse the team to fire up and win the game and shoot back
but its not the players that seem to be the issue its the simple stuff like defensive set ups that dont make any sense
their bind is the worst example of this they have yoru playing with viper and whenever he tp's away it becomes a 4-1 and viper is completely isolated its why they lost to envy.
this is like basic yoru macro errors im peak ascendant and ik this shit
I mean eg are making dumb mistakes that are out of the coaches hand there ult.usage is ass and they are not fragging as much as they should
dude she should be drilling this into the players heads to not use ults in ecos thats literally why gentle mates were shit in split 2 last year had they been good with ults they would have made champs
