US VISA bans | VLR.gg

US freezes all immigrant Visa processing for 75 countries, mostly many Asian, African and Latin American countries, including most importantly for VCT Americas fans which is BRAZIL. (Chile and Argentina not in this list)

So what happens now with all the KRU players that had visa delays? Are they not playing with their roster for entirety of Kickoff? It looks like this ban might last longer than just 1-2 months, so it could even be even longer.

*UPDATE: This ban wont affect VCT-players or any other temporary workers/travelers to the US because they are not coming to the US as a resident. Thats why they are sorted as "non-immigrant", so they could still get the Visa, ban is only for "immigrant" Visas which are essentially permanent residents.

i mean, what youre saying is true, but the specific reasoning for this round of bans is cracking down on remittance payments funded by government assistance which i actually dont think is that unreasonable. not sure a full visa ban is really the answer but its at the very least economically harmful

e: but i wouldnt be surprised if the way the countries were chosen was not by remittance rate but "hostile" regimes

I have read the entire policy . Like this ban does not affect tourist visas , performer , short term business , athlete or student visas . It only affects u if ur trying to get work in the US or wanna immigrate there .
Atheletes including esports players follow one of two visa P-1A and O1-A . Which are not affected by this travel ban hope this helps .
