It seems the consensus top3 teams to qualify to santioago are; mibr, g2, and nrg.
I dont think it is that cut and dry and i think that even 1 or even 2 of these teams will not make it.
I'm curious, who do you guys think from the above list will not qualify and who do u have making it in over them ?
and why
mibr with lack of scrimming but im sure they will do well and improve rapidly
i have mibr beating nrg in the upper finals
after that nrg facing g2 in the mid finals, which i think is a toss up, but whoever loses i think will lose to lev in the lower final
They saw neon drop 41k against a team in an offseason event and got too excited.
the roster on paper is great its like a talon roster but in americas and they did well at the 1 off season event but nobody seems to remember who onur is as a coach or factoring in pxs as a sub
ig i don’t know who onur is but also pxs is only subbing for neon for the first two rounds of upper and mid bracket. by the time the third round and the lower bracket start neon turns 18, and i think him returning will give them momentum through the lower bracket
onur has a very controversial coaching style he's notoriously against anti strats and believes developing your own game is all you need so he overworks his teams which in the past has led to the players getting burnt out he was the leviatan coach in 2023 which was the roster that the "lev save" term came from and they were known as a very good team in scrims but as the season went on they were very easy to prep against. since then hes been coaching in latam tier 2 which doesnt really prove anything its not very competitive the lev academy just clearly had the best players in the region he had neon igling playing duelist there 😭 anyways this makes the results in the offseason make a lot of sense they were clearly just outworking all of those teams but i dont think this coaching style works in valorant we already saw it in 2023.
i think g2 and mibr will qualify but NRG have a huge target on their back and the meta has shifted even further away from what they played at champs. and a roster move that well on paper is an upgrade it might not be so 1 for 1 as people are saying. i dont think they will be bad but i could see them getting overtaken at least early in the season.

respectable take idk if he comms as much as som did, it seems last year they were calling by committee based of of everyones info so keiko will have to learn to do that if he hasnt alr

Dk any teams who can stop em at kickoff unless kru surprise
Lev could too but only in lower lower bracket when neon returns
Every other team gotta come out strong or some
Beside all this NA last year wasnt a debate g2 won all 3 times and sen was top 3 the whole time i think this the easiest region to guess the top 3-4 teams but the lower end teams in NA r harder to predict
I can see the upper final being NRG and G2 with NRG making it though and then one team in particular like 100 thieves, Kru, or C9 really surprising people and qualifying, and then G2 barely qualifying last because they would get to play best of 5s were they experience diff
if by choking means that they got to every final or middle and lower final...
i think nrg might fit that criteria: high expectations plus meta hitting hard brawk and missing s0m who was an emotional anchor
I would bet on g2 but they aint gonna defeat the regional farmers allegations
I think people are underrating the fact that C9 is just a better version of last years team and they honestly should’ve qualified to champs and everyone is underating KRU because people somehow forgot how good Sadhaak and Less are
I feel like either NRG or G2 will not perform as well or be anti started and sen/Lev will perform surprisingly well (not as surprising for lev)
