some parts were really good and some parts i wish they did more/something different
It’s clear to see that the duffer brothers had zero clue how to wrap it up . This season was a mess
yea to some degree, it wasnt terrible but wasnt great either. i think the duffers did a c9 and choked abit at the last hurdle

tricky imo the direction and general ideas were very good(right side up idea especially is peak) as for most season but the execution is ok-ish for this season but i think the biggest flaws are mind flayer,Vecna was underwhelming they folded so easily but for that ending sequence (which was good) to work they needed to get quick dropped
it needed to be a two part finale to work boss fight and then happy ending i feel like they finished realized it was 4-6hrs and decided to cut things
every time vecna gets a spot to work in the story it especially this time around he either doesn't get pay off for his writing or he gets forced into the story (we have seen both in this season start and end)
the horror being completely missing cause no one ever dies but i think Everybody has given up on the horror element at this point Eleven having a vague death and bringing in another side character to die for shock value steve or one of close calls needed to end badly i think they just wanted to finish the show at that point with maybe a side story to milk for money
TLDR; nobody died,mind flayer needed to put up more of a fight, and similar problems to previous seasons good direction good ideas ok execution
they should've had the mind flayer particles expelled from the spider monster to show us its not actually dead though i have no clue why it needed a physical form in the first place if its goal is to possess large populations. This could also help in that spinoff they're planning cause the mind flayer CANT actually be killed
i don't think a spin off with the upside down in mind is the plan best case scenario is eleven reuniting with her finds via bath tub and its just game of code deciphering to meet her again or wormhole doesn't close properly another world is attached where 11 goes on a solo adventure thru to find a away back to her friends
Maybe a Reboot if they feel like ruining the IP to milk it dry with military lady finding a away via Vecna's notebook to create new kids but it connects to another right side up chaos with hopefully better writing etc or 11 is transported to alternate reality via wormhole bs and 11 wanting to go back but i think mike's theory is more likely to be correct
best case scenario is exotic matter does some bullshit gang get back together one last time or a 11's centered side story with mini cutaways to regular group featuring exotic matter paranormal activity maybe world hopping
i guess you were right about them milking this cast of characters even though its set between previous seasons but i swear i also saw a report saying that a spinoff would have new characters, different time and different place
really good horror series gets milked by a big corporation into being 7ish/10 worth a watch tho it is the perfect show to watch when you dont have anything better when you have good food and your looking for YT video to watch with it

most people older then gen z really like it especially the earlier seasons 1-3 just a 7/10 thing to watch earlier seasons are 8-9/10 i would give u a plot summary but it is better to watch blind for sure
No major deaths?? It's not like I wanted them to die but I thought duffer brothers confirmed atleast 6 deaths?? Even kali didn't die ( well maybe she bled out but we don't even know that ) Also there was no action other than the 5 minutes of the right with mind flayer. I feel like after revealing too much before the season, the finale wasn't as fun to watch.
First off no one cares about kali and that's just a theory we don't know whether she's alive or dead
they are pussies that never kill any main character. "but el" she will come back with a spin off next year you can be sure of that

Kept my expectation very low but i would give it 8/10 fs.
Happy ending for everyone isnt that bad and sure its not the best season of the series. But thank God it was not ass like GOT s8.
They couldve spend a bit more time on the fights and spent a tad bit less on everyone's story post defeating vecna. Could have have focused on a lot more elements. There was no adrenaline rush scenes imo, But overall i am happy and it was not disappointing.

What happened to all the demogorgans and dogs when the mind flayer and Vecna were getting whooped? Also the big baddie was smashed in like seconds after seeing him 2 seasons later? Also the way Vecna died, he could have been killed in the same way in the first season itself lmao. Why wait for a decade worth of episodes?
I assume cus vecna/mind flayer controls all of them they all just die when they nobody is controlling them. It’s they were connected in a system once they break it they all die. First season nobody knew where vecna real location which we find it was the abyss on top of the upside down so how in the first season would they kill it.
