i just came back from china and they are much better than western countries
insane

There are dark sides to every country, especially China for example, what you see on holiday is not a perfect representation of the country
No right I just mean they're not "better" but maybe better in some ways like public transportation for example
yeah they are worse than many countries in terms of life quality and workers rights
but in one man regime these are not important
i mean theyre the only countries that have own region its just matter of time they will win again
this is a pretty natural process europe is likely to stagnate, the us will probably grow more slowly and the economic center of gravity shifts toward asia.
right now its china, next is india then indonesia and others this is a chain effect driven by demographics industrialization and economic catch-up.
once asia reaches western-level income productivity and aging, growth slows down and the focus moves to regions like latin america and africa.
yeah before china it was japan
they had an economic miracle but now the yen is so damn weak
exactly japan is a good example it had its miracle then reached western-level development and growth slowed down.
its mostly structural aging population high costs etc
you cannot compare china with korea or japan
those countries are produced qualified materials at high costs/paying high salary to workers ++ with private sector (such as samsung, panasonic etc.)
india and indonesia are not improved their Infrastructure
but china is completely different
they have a super developed Infrastructure, engineers and many cheap workers. And all of them are directly supported by Chinese government
especially after 2020 china started to produce valuable items such as (mri devices and aircraft parts). Normally Germany was number 1 in this sector but china probably already took over that.
i agree that china is very different from japan and korea but we are not comparing the model we are comparing the structural outcome over time. costs rise the population ages and the cheap labor advantage disappears, so far no high income country has escaped this
every economy that reached high income went through aging higher costs and slower growth, the us australia and some european countries only delay this through immigration, they do not cancel it.
India lol I don’t think my country is gonna develop fast enough we haven’t even started working on the foundation basics of having proper infrastructure/system in metropolitan city that’s why you can see how the capital of India Delhi is suffering from air pollution almost similar levels to Beijing which was in the past
india becoming a giant is almost inevitable given the fundamentals. infrastructure is weak now yes but that was also true for china in the 90s
it is almost expected that india will surpass germany in the next few years
russia overrated
weak economy (lost very quickly against sanctions)
disgraced against ukraine
lost in syria
bro u visited china but u havent lived there living there is not that good
i went to fair there
and in technology they are the best
germany, japan, korea will suffer from that a lot
every country has pros and cons when ur traveling u are mostly focusing on pros
Until you live there and especially as normal average/low wage worker. Talking about work-life balance etc. Let alone that Chinese citizens are tracked 24/7 by their social credit systems. China can look good on surface and as tourists, but there are many issues and its far from ideal. Its kind of same when people glaze countries like Korea and Japan.
Not in +200 points way, but China is full of systems that do value someone's credit. Sure every country has, but in China it has even more impact than just loans and such. For example you can get travel ban for having too low of a credit. Its a thing based on reports. China is like the country with most surveillance over its citizens, not saying that other countries aren't.
20% of china is rich, and incredible.
80% is either uninhabited or dirt poor.
every big country is like this generally. the % can change a bit but overall its the same
your country got high salary but barely surviving in daily life. its the same, and dont forget about puerto rico
I mean to be 100% honest, Being better than the US atm is not exactly difficult...
Honestly China is catching up to the west even though it still has insane laws
asia going up, sea countries getting better while my country's in the dust
GETMEOUT
Yeah china so good, google Uyghur re-education camps. basically modern Auschw*tz and if you think that's under the category "no politics" your moral compass is broken.
