You're not thinking about it correctly. Everyone thought that keiko was mid asf coming into 2025 and nAts igl was a big question mark, and their other players weren't particularly good. Most people assumed they would make playoffs at best but nothing more.
Their current roster has at least the same potential as the previous one, if not more because every piece of this team has some talent unlike the 2025 version.
If you think they have lower expectations coming into the year u just don't know ball

He didn't tho. He was good in tier 2 but outside of individual games he was very mid in VCT. Their team was struggling but so was he. If he didn't role change he would likely be in tier 2 right now.

Barely anything significant. In all honesty I don't like the idea of keeping Kamo to switch him to recon, but this coaching staff has supervised what might have been the most impressive role swap of all time, and kamo seems to be putting the hours in to successfully change his roles so it could be absolutely fine and purp0 is very flexible so they can swap things if needed

i have only see all three fry on duelists and thats their main role

a team with no role issues is better than a team that has more firepower but role issues
sure but you're just assuming they have roles issues while I'm precisely explaining how and why that is not the case
This roster definitely has better fire power than last year so they're gonna win every tournament this year because they've also got the goat player of all time (nAts) and the goat IGL of all time (nAts)

why do people saying this when the literal ONLY downgrade is Keiko's replacement whilst the other 2 replacements are upgrades AND the fact that TL 2025 did NOT come into the year with high expectations. Admittedly, we did overperform but that doesn't mean we rewrite history and say that everybody expected us to do as good as we did.
I think they will be good. People underrate both MiniBoo and Kamo like crazy. nAts is good individual and decent IGL. purp0 potential is high as long as he reaches it. And I don't know anything about Wayne but apparently he is good. Also their coaching staff is pretty damn good considering what they did with the last roster. Some forget that their 2024 roster had weak expectations.
i dont expect nothing of a team that the star player is n0ts, maybe in 2016 they were good when n0ts was in prime, but atm another trash year

As long as they play good double duelist comps, good initiator, and nAts help top frag or just cleans up consistently, they'll be okay.
im comming to collect on all of you tl d riders when they fail to do anything at lan for '26
my expectations aren't incredibly high on Purpo and Kamo as they will be on new roles. So just wanna see how that'll pan out. Nats and Wayne should do wonders. Miniboo if he is consistent will help this team alot.
