do yall think cryo should keep forcing chamber on every map. Or should actually learn how to play senti. I really hope the game plans ain’t only about cryo and his op

play chamber on any map he can get away with it, if he learned viper and kj too that would be great
I feel him on chamber only really limits ideas on 100t to be top quality team
It doesnt matter what VLR thinks. Cryo is simply not ready to learn a new agent and its showing. If 100T doesnt win anything, cryo for sure will not be getting picked up next year
is learning a new agent that hard? isnt it just watching some vods, spamming it in ranked and letting ur coaches coach u and fine tune ur gameplay
It really is, at the pro level. Chamber players in particular have this certain play style which makes them top tier. They cant keep the same play style when playing agents like say KJ or Cypher. We have already seen him playing cypher on split and it wasnt that good for a non igl star player. 100T atp can simply get a proven sentinel player from t2 or t1 instead of experimenting and making their player to learn new agents and there is no guarantee he will actually be a good sentinel.
I mean how are we saying hes not ready to learn a new agent? You are basing this off of offseason tournaments that dont mean shit. We have seen him play chamber, cypher, veto and viper in the few games that they played. Yea his cypher was shit on split and they already moved him off of it to veto, which wasnt bad at all.
We all have no idea if he will be good on senti until we actually really see him play senti in matches. If it doesnt work, cut him next year and pick someone else up. At least give the dude a chance
no cus he did play cypher and veto obviously he wasn’t good but like he can change to make it work
He only needs to learn viper tbh, all other sentis aren’t really worth picking
i think yall are very naive for thinking no one tried or considered making cryo role swap in these past few years
Its possible, but I think less probable than you think. Zikz was leaning really hard into double duelist.
I just don't get how everyone is already writing him off when we have not even really seen him in a match that matters at senti.
i mean im not talking only about 25. cryo has been on 100t since 23. he tried full time duelist but didn't stick to it, briefly tried sentinel on a offseason but they didn't stick to it, play mostly controller + jett but didn't fully stick to it... feels like he was always in a weird role spot and i find it difficult to believe no one noticed and tried to fix it specially since he did play a lot of different agents. and the fact he says he's open to a role swap just makes me even more skeptical. you were open this entire time and no one ever tried? idk
of course he can be good on sentinel now but i highly doubt it. just feels like they will go back to the whole "molding around him" thing all over again mid-season
what i think is that any other player with that kind of role issues would be kicked. cryo is mechanically gifted so i think thats why 100t won't drop him; maybe they do think they are just incompetent, are afraid other orgs will extract more of him, and will miss a opportunity. but still feels like he needs another coaching staff for a actual conclusion
I mean the two coaches that they brought on are widely considered a great pick up, so i think they need to just give him a chance and see what he can produce. Like you said, he is mechanically gifted, i think its more about getting him reps on the role and different agents and see what happens.
We wont really know until they play matches that matter. I also believe that all the comps and stuff that we saw from them in the OS tournaments wont necessarily be what they are running at Kick Off
100T needs to stop treating Cryo like a tourist on an island. They need to support his op play instead of leaving him to play retake where the distance collapses and he loses his advantages. Chamber is built for taking fights at distance and Cryo's gunplay is tier 1 but you're making him play with one hand behind his back.
Traditionally you play a rifle with an op because of the reset speed. This was softened because of headhunter but it still easy for Chamber to be overwhelmed
i dont think playing chamber on most maps right now is forcing it, i think whoever figures out how to optimally implement veto the quickest will be rewarded but right now chamber is probably the most viable sentinel for most teams especially 100t
Playing a lot of chamber atm is perfectly fine, just not on a few map.
Split and Haven are not good chamber maps at all, and he played viper in the last Spotlight series so I assume they know it. Chamber is fine on every map besides that I think.
It's defo good on Sunset, Abyss, Pearl and Corrode.
Bind isn't great but it's alr. Better if he plays Viper there tho
